The anecdotes, the history, the fun and the depth of the interview, it was great! This is the kind of podcast that you have to listen to twice. It is that good! A discussion away from the actors and/or fan base, about the industry and how it works! Riveting podcast! My own conclusion, hire a good writers and let him write! And oh yay, bring new writers in to keep the juice going| Log in to Reply daisyclover1938 February 1, 2008 AWESOME SHOW!!!! This was a fantastic interview. Thom Racina is so funny and so knowledgeable (I will be the first in line to buy his memoirs!) I loved his honesty! And both of you guys asked fantastic questions!! I’m so glad he debunked the myth of head writers getting residuals from creating new characters on soaps. I’ve heard that story for years, and just wasn’t sure if it was true or not, so I’m glad to finally found out. Luke, you should have pitched your AW: Next Generation idea! And I loved finding out more about you guys too (Luke lived in Canada?! Belinda’s son is an author?!) And I liked hearing about where your passions for soaps comes from…that would make a good forum topic too! Thanks again for the great show! *still missing Lisa! I loved how Thom was open and honest about everything and had a lot of wonderful stories. I’m going to read his books now. Interesting to find out about how the whole Ice Princess storyline evolved. And I hope that his Canadian show makes it to the US so we can all watch something that’s well written. Log in to Reply DolFan February 7, 2008 Great podcast! The 1 1/2 hours went by fast.
