Longtime Soap Writer Dies

Memorial services for prolific daytime and primetime soap writer Raymond Goldstone will be held Friday, April 25, at 7 pm at the WGA Theater, located at 135 S. Doheny Dr., Beverly Hills. Goldstone, who wrote for daytime sudsers Days of Our Lives and General Hospital , as well as primetime hits Knots Landing and Falcon Crest, died of a heart attack on March 13 in Van Nuys. He is survived by his wife, actress Mary Ellen Jennings Goldstone and a sister, writer Ann Marcus. He was 88.
