HomeTVAll My ChildrenRatings April 14 – 18, 2008 Lisa K. April 26, 2008 All My Children, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, One Life to Live, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and The Restless 4 Comments Sorry for the lack of ratings for last week folks (a snow storm interfered!). So now I bring you a summary of ratings for the month of April. From what we can see so far, Young & The Restless is in a bit of a holding pattern at a 3.8 however they have lost viewership in the all important demo group Women 18-49! Bold & The Beautiful is also hovering at a 2.7 for the month of April. Third place seems to be the juggling spot as General Hospital, Days Of Our Lives and As The World Turns keep jumping around in the middle of the pack. Again All My Children & One Life To Live is in the crapper next to the almost dead Guiding Light! One Life To Live is soooooooo boring and really needs Ron Carlivati back in the saddle again to get the storylines interconnected and the characters balanced out as Gary Tomlin just isn’t cutting it for me! Guiding Light seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to timeslots as they were pre-empted last week in some markets because of the Pope’s visit. And it’s so sad that Katie’s wedding to Brad last week on As The Word Turns didn’t seem to get much support in the ratings as I had hoped it would but they did go up in the demo group!. However it will be interesting to see if the kiss between Luke & Noah from this past Wednesday helps the show although I don’t expect much out of it considering the lack of buildup or advertising by CBS to promote this fabulous couple! And I hate to say it but All My Children does seem to be getting a "little" better compared to a couple of months ago. However it still has a LONG way to go before I’ll start watching it again on a regular basis (ahem kill off KWAK asap!). They need to start admitting more mistakes and correcting them ASAP. GL is in dire need of a change in timeslots. It has always come on at 2pm here, but in most markets, it’s 10am, and that’s no time for a soap to air. Log in to Reply tanyia2 April 26, 2008 GL need a new regime and a solid time slot if they want to win back viewers. Log in to Reply THEBEST April 26, 2008 Binksfan, I agree with you. In no way, shape, or form is AMC off my Sh!t List yet. My one wish is for Dixie to come back alive. I refuse to believe that she’s a ghost, but simply a figment of Adam’s imagination, or his conscience. In SOD, Frons claims that they thought about bringing her back alive, but decided against it because Jesse had recently come back from the dead. No offense to DM or DW (they’re the one bright spot on the show), but if anything Dixie should have been resurrected before the thought of Jesse even crossed their minds. If you’re going to admit that you’re wrong, undo the whole mistake, just don’t put a band aid on it. ***///Living In The World Of Soaps Since 1985\\\*** Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
