HomeTVBuffy the Vampire SlayerYou just can’t stop Nathan Fillion Sean July 16, 2008 Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dr. Horrible, How I Met Your Mother, One Life to Live 3 Comments OK so this isn’t all about Nathan Fillion (ex-Joey OLTL, ex-Dr Mayfair DH) but i needed him to post this here. So Joss Whedon, genius behind Buffy, Angel, Firefly and the upcoming Dollhouse. had an idea that he thought would be fun to do. He called his brothers and his friends Nate Fillion and Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser, M.D, How I Met Your Mother) and talked them into doing this short project called "Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog" From Sci-Fi.com : "Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) wrote the musical series during last year’s Writers’ Strike. Co-writers for the Internet feature are Whedon’s brothers, Zack and Jed, and Jed’s fiancee, Maurissa Tancharoen. The story centers on a low-rent supervillain (Neil Patrick Harris), the hero who keeps beating him up (Nathan Fillion) and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to (Felicia Day). Act Two goes live on July 17 and Act three on July 19. All three parts will remain on the site until midnight July 20. After that, the series will be made available for paid download in some format and will ultimately end up on DVD, with extras. Whedon promised more information at Comic-Con International in San Diego in July. " Go check this out this is just too funny to pass up. 3 Responses elbugten July 16, 2008 This was great; lol funny. For the first time watching a super hero story, I’m actually rooting for the villain to win and get the girl! Can’t wait for part 2. I knew Neil Patrick Harris had been on Broadway, but I didn’t expect the others to have good singing voices, too. Question though: Was the guy who plays “Moist” one of the guys from The Big Bang Theory? He looked familiar. Log in to Reply ebachtel July 16, 2008 It was so funny I loved it. I think the guy who plays “Moist” is on the Big Bang Theory. Log in to Reply Luke Kerr July 16, 2008 That was hilarious and really well done!
