HomeTVDays of Our LivesDays of our Lives: Olympic Programming Mike Jubinville August 7, 2008 Days of Our Lives, Days of our Lives Spoilers 3 Comments The Olympics are upon us and it may impact Days of our Lives‘ fans ability to get their daily fix of Salem shenanigans. Instead, the show opted to hold up their major stories and offer up two short story arcs during the games. According to Soap Opera Digest, one of the stories will involve the Stefano in the hospital with several other characters including Nicole, who spins off into a fantasy of her own. Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) "film noir" short is centered in the 1940s and includes EJ, Sami, Chloe and Lucas. The authentic fantasy will include dialogue, wardrobe, and a story out of an old detective movie. NBC hopes the stories will captivate viewers enough to stick with the show during the duration of the Olympics. Even though the show will deviate from it’s normal programming, the stories will involve most of the characters seen daily, including several fan favorites. I am excited to see the what Days has in store for the Olympics but isn’t it time for Nicole to get her own damn storyline. She’s in everybody elses for christ sake! These past couple of days without her on screen has been heaven! Log in to Reply angmc August 7, 2008 Oh Snowi, we think so much alike!! I could care less about Nicole. I hope they reveal that Melanie is her daughter and she can go off have her own snoozeworthy storyline. But how funny is it that even she dreams of EJami in bed together!
