Log in to Reply Jamey Giddens September 29, 2008 She could even get an editorial assistant job at Vogue, based on Carrie’s recommendation, working for Candace Bergen’s character. A myriad of guys, from Laman Rucker to Shemar Moore, to Keith Hamilton Cobb and Blair Underwood could guest star as her love interests. It would be so GOOD! I am excited just by the idea of it. Tom Welling, I am drooling!!!!!!! Log in to Reply season1217 September 29, 2008 Frankly Jamey, some of the men you mentioned as possible love interests for Jennifer are too old for her. I’d love to see her and Michael Ealy or Nate Parker. Although, if she wanted to add some salt along w/ her pepper Tom Welling would be a perfect choice.;) ________________________ //**It’s the writing, stupid!**\\ Log in to Reply Jamey Giddens September 29, 2008 Michael Ealy would be AMAZING! Log in to Reply Jillian Bowe September 29, 2008 "Michael Ealy would be AMAZING!" PRETTY RICKY! Love it! Can you imagine he and, "Louise" sweating up the sheets? I doubt JHud would wanna do that show though.. Miss. Dreamgirls has tons of roles lined up, she’s going to be working with some heavy hitters. "And for when she wants a little milk in her coffee: Mark Valley and Tom Welling! " No u didn’t go there J! *LOL* Brian Austin Green would be good. Log in to Reply joshua2854 September 29, 2008 Hooray for J-Hud! I feel a special love for her because I remember watching her on American Idol, and being devestated when she and LaToya London (Holla at LaToya!) were booted off. I know this is a dream that will never come to fruition, but think about how FREAKIN WONDERFULLY AMAZING she would be if Y&R brought back La Rowell and cast J-Hud as her daughter. I know, I know, it will never happen, but a diva lovin, gay boy can dream, right? Log in to Reply season1217 September 29, 2008 True Jamey but SJP ain’t got an Oscar. Jennifer’s an Academy Award winner, let Beyonce play second fiddle.;) But I do agree that if given the right material an HBO show would be wonderful for her. Just because you win an Oscar doesn’t mean you’ve got it made in the shade. Jennifer has to be smart about the choices she makes. Can’t wait to see The Secret Life of Bees! I loves me some Jennifer! ________________________ //**It’s the writing, stupid!**\\ Log in to Reply Jillian Bowe September 29, 2008 That’s what I’m saying seasons. I get that HBO’s just like big time success but with a series you pretty much don’t have the flexibility to move around and do things like JHud’s able to do so. Log in to Reply Jamey Giddens September 30, 2008 Okay, lets be real, how many Academy Award winners are we seeing on the small screen as we speak? The shelf life for an Oscar isn’t always that long. Cuba anyone? Marisa Tomei? Halle? (love her, but she’ coasting on looks and popularity and hasn’t had a decent script since Clinton was in the White House) A Sex spin off wouldn’t just be any show on HBO, it’s part of a billion dollar franchise and headlined by a woman of color would bring it into new and uncharted territory. Plus HBO is desperate for a hit and would put tons of loot behind it. And as far as flexibility, HBO shows are only 13 episodes per year, sometimes less than that. Katherine Heigl tapes 22 eppys a year on Grey’s and manages to sneak in at least two big box office hits per year. Log in to Reply Jamey Giddens September 29, 2008 I wish Michael Patrick King and HBO would create a spin off TV series for Jennifer’s character in Sex and the City the Movie. They could call it "St. Louise" and it could pick up with her finding out her husband is having an affair with a man. She leaves him and moves back to NYC to pursue a career as a writer, inspired by her time as Carrie’s assistant. Log in to Reply Jamey Giddens September 29, 2008 Headling a show on HBO is the equivalent of big screen success, ask Say-Jessica.
