Following in the footsteps of this week's Performer of the Week and CBS and Days of Our Lives episode this week's ABC episode joins the other two as one of the funniest episodes in recent memory.

Soras and Ashram. I can't say either of those words without laughing now.
I am with you that the soaps is making the genre dumbed down to the point of ruining the industry. I am not feeling watching the soaps anymore because I just think the tptb is making viewers tune out of the soaps. I don't feel that the industry is not going to make it in 2015.

This podcast had me in tears because I laughed so hard. I am so glad someone called out Ron C's shitting on OLTL. I never thought like some he was the second coming on the show and his storytelling just proves it.

Jamey, I nominate you for soap writing for ABC because the ABC editions of soaps need a breath of fresh air and you know what to do about saving this industry that tiic does not care about the fans like you do. You give good ideas and suggestions to save the soaps that I feel like just giving up on, but I love listen to you and the gang comments.

WTH was Jamey drinking? Funny podcast. At least I could tell you guys were having fun. No brilliant insights, but much ribaldry ensued.
Okay, this weeks podcasts all had me lmao - but this one had me laughing so hard I was crying in like the first 5 minutes! You all rock! And Jamey - as out there as your Jesus in the temple comparison sounded - it's actually right on the money! Let's start tossing over some tables and cleaning house in the soap world!

I really liked in the temple, you're so right on (we're still listening to this one). They are selling their wares...in heavy duty marketing mode it gets tiring (just thinking about this podcast cracks me up).
I'm sorry I guess I'm the only one that doesn't share enthusiasm and over the moon with the "character" Olivia. They bring on so many new characters, they come on, gobble up air, after that "where are they?"
Another barker I don't need....I got Maxi, Carly & Claudia for that. The character is a Soprano stereotype for me...she came on strong, gave Sonny his two cents, barked at Kate (on her wedding day), Robin, Patrick gave an arf, arf to Jason but with the overworked accent, she'll stale up for me real fast with their style of writing ...where is Matt?
They refuse to write story for some of my favs right there on the canvas, eg Kent's Lainey (w/Cody) an excellent storyline and/or Minae's Kelly but they will fast forward new characters right past them and I'd like Laura to get out of that chair for good.
For me, its all in the writing, I'd like them to "tighten up" write solid stories (w/good dialog) with characters they already have, whatever flash in the pan character or stunt casting comes through in the "long term" won't matter much "for me" with bad storytelling. And this mob storyline is not working for me (so far) but sweeps are coming so it may turn it around.

See, Carly barks at people because she's just a sh!t starting heffer. Olivia is like the typical New Yorker: abrasive, rude, loud. It's just the way that she was raised. I just hope that they keep her like that and don't turn her into a mob sympathetic Sonny worshiper.
