Ratings: September 22 - 26, 2008

Well folks, I'm not quite sure what Guiding Light needs to do to move up a spot because they had a pretty good week despite being stuck at a 1.5 rating. They saw an increase of 104,000 more viewers compared to the previous week. Actually, all of the CBS soaps and the remaining NBC soap did well in total viewership this week.
As the World Turns, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Days of Our Lives saw nice gains in total viewership compared to the previous week (97,000, 114,000, and 248,000 respectively). But it was The Young and the Restless that moved up the most by gaining 432,000 more viewers compared to the previous week...this pulled them up from a 3.5 rating to a 3.7. Way to go guys!

The ABC soaps however were not as fortunate. Each soap lost total viewers with One Life To Live and All My Children tying their lowest rating ever. General Hospital lost 151,000 more viewers compared to the previous week. But not to be outdone...All My Children lost the most viewers with 187,000 viewers tuning out. Ouch!

I don't care if the magazines, soap reporters/bloggers, etc., tell me how I'm suppose to accept and find interesting Todd and Marty, I just can't!! It is offensive and disgusting. And Rex's game show and Natalie's prison are also ridiculous.
AMC is the same thing.
Why not put GL out of his misery. The Grady show is repulsive.
They just don't get it.

Just when I was getting my hopes up with GL, I fall flat on my face again. I actually thought we were headed towards a Reva and Josh renuion.....now both have been offscreen and we have been subjected to the never-ending Bill and Lizzie show.
Oh, and I don't know what they are trying to prove with Grady, but all they are doing is pissing off fans. THE MAN KILLED TAMMY! I don't care what he does, I will never root for, hate, love, love to hate this character.

I guess it will take for Kim Zimmer to walk off set before we get a new Head Writer and/or Executive Producer. The writing on this show makes NO sense. Bill & Lizzie's love story is just pointless & stupid, pretty much like the rest of the show.
