HomeTV90210Tiffani Thiessen Pops Her (White) Collar With Matthew Bomer Jamey Giddens November 8, 2008 90210, One Life to Live, Saved by the Bell, White Collar 2 Comments The girl whose sexy, bad girl Valerie Malone helped this fan of the original Beverly Hills, 90210 quickly get over the loss of some chick named Brenda, is returning to TV. Tiffani Thiessen (Hold the mustard and the Amber.) has landed a role in the upcoming USA pilot White Collar playing the wife of a detective who specializes in what else, white collar crimes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The lead gumshoe in question is played by none other than Guiding Light alum Matthew Bomer (Who so should have beat out that One Life to Live dude for the Superman role). I’m sure the seven people who still watch Guiding Light will recall Bomer as the guy who helped transition Fletcher Reade’s sweet, goofy son Ben into a raging, psycho killer. That was back when the show actually wrote those type of characters off. Now, Ben would likely be the lead heartthrob, getting more airtime than Kim Zimmer in oddly homoerotic scenes where Ron Raines ties him to a chair, or Ben ties Marcy Rylan to a chair. Pick your perversion. Okay, what was I writing about again? (Snort) Oh yeah, White Collar, it sounds like a winner! God knows the last eight years has given the show’s producers plenty of storyline fodder with all the rampant white collar crime that has dominated newspaper headlines. Plus, this is a very good time for alums from Thiessen’s other teen show, Saved By The Bell. Mark Paul Gosselaar has a hit cable show, Dustin Diamond, well, um, okay, but then there is Mario Lopez! The Latin lover who once donned A.C. Slater’s M.C. Hammer pants and a bitchin’ jheri curl, now has 873 gigs in TV. In fact I just read he might be up for replacing Andrea Evans as Tina Lord on One Life to Live. Let’s just hope he has frequent flier miles. 2 Responses season1217 November 8, 2008 Excuse me, Jamey! I know you not talkin’ about Brandon! Matthew is rather easy on the eyes. He even died hotly in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Oh, did I give the movie away! I love him as Bryce Larkin on Chuck. ______ http://www.tv.com/users/TVNerd95/profile.php Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
