HomeTVAll My ChildrenKnight Rider Revs Up For Reboot Luke Kerr November 10, 2008 All My Children, Knight Rider 7 Comments Great news Knight Rider fans who haven’t been happy with NBC’s remake. According to Zap2it Knight Rider is getting rid of Bruce Davison, Sydney Tamiia Poitier and Yancey Arias after the initial 13 episodes of this season. In their attempt to move closer to the original show’s format today’s Knight Rider will focus on the stories of helping ordinary people rather than Michael (Justin Bruening) and KITT defending against the latest "terrorist of the week." Now if only they’d get rid of Val Kilmer as KITT’s voice. He’s got to be costing a pretty penny. Who knows, I might actually tune back in now that the three characters I liked least are leaving. 7 Responses Jamey Giddens November 10, 2008 But…they’re keeping Justin? :O Log in to Reply Luke Kerr November 10, 2008 Justin has never been the weak link on KR, though he wasn’t the strongest actor/character either. I’m very hopeful since "will continue with a focus on Bruening’s Michael, girlfriend/partner Sarah (Deanna Russo) and the bantering techies played by Smith Cho and Paul Campbell." I think the banter between the techies has been the best part of the show. Log in to Reply ssjohn November 10, 2008 I haven’t watched a single episode of this series -.-. It’s just a show that I don’t care about, i tried to watch the first episode after the movie but I just can’t get into it. NBC as a network has really let me down, E.R. is really the only show that is interesting me and keeping me tuned in each episode. Merlin is going to be really good when it airs on NBC but i am watching it as it airs in the UK so not really counting that. I guess I have Friday night lights to look forward to Log in to Reply Luke Kerr November 10, 2008 Yeah, I only watch two shows on NBC….Heroes and occasionally Chuck when I have "free time." Heroes is the only "Must See TV" for me. I used to watch Earl but it just got old for me, can’t stand The Office and Kath and Kim looks terrible. I don’t enjoy most procedurals so needless to say it’s getting to the point where I’m giving up hope on what was once my favorite network. Log in to Reply season1217 November 10, 2008 Listen, no more was more critical of this show than me but I’m looking on the bright side. As long as he’s on this show and in California the longer his wife stays there w/ him and away from ever coming back to Pine Valley! Val Kilmer’s voice is a natural sleeping aid. It’s really dull. I guess his voice and Justin’s acting really compliment each other.:P Sorry, mean joke. ________________________ //**No one on the corner has swagger like us!**\\ Log in to Reply williamjc November 11, 2008 The bad part is that Sydney Tamila Poiter is leaving. She actually can act, so maybe this is a good thing. Being on that show must’ve been torture for her and Yancey…lol. I’ve seen it a couple of times and Justin is an alright hero. Let’s face facts – the star of the show is the freakin’ car – they really only need Michael and Sarah. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
