DC #324: ABC Slippery Slide

Hey Luke & Ladies!

First off let me thank you for NOT dissucing Todd & Marty! I don't have the energy to fight about them this time around.

At first when Tess came on I loved her! Tess was the spit-fire alter for Jessica. When they brought her back this 2nd time I lost interest, mainly because she wasn't writen properly. Bess, left me going huh? Bess is no Jean Randoulf. Jean was Vicki's alter that was cold and mean, but tackfull. I thought Nicki was fun and wild, but the alter of Jean made me love Erika Slezak even more. She was the alter that you bowed down too. Vicki's other alters are Tori (The Pyro), Tommy (The Boy), Princess (the little girl) and Victor (Vicki's dad).

Starr's labor was way more realistic than Jess/Tess/Bess. I just wish they were not doing the whole baby switch thing. Let Starr have her baby alive, let Marcy raise it. I just hope this won't drag out a whole year like Sam/Tommy.

AMC for me is going ok. I like Reese but can do without Taylor, she isn't doing anything for me. I love Jake and Amanda and I think it weird that David was hitting on Amanda.

I turned into GH just to see Srubs and Robin giving birth and it was the first time I was enjoying GH. No mob! Yes!! Kudos to all the actors/actresses. Maxie was great! Spinelli was great, everyone was great! Now if GH could write more like that I just might watch it full-time again.

Why are you guys hating on GH?????I think it's on a role and was really good that week....I know that no one one the podcast likes Sam so I guess none of you would have enjoyed her scenes with Jerry that week...a mention would have been nice though .....I really wish that Alexis was on though....I miss her.....

You guys realize that you promoted the rapemance by saying you were not going to talk about it for like 4+ minutes?

Anyways I loved the 'on the run' stuff, but this was my first time seeing it, and while it mite not be 'as good as the first two times' wasn't it better then the Mob stuff?

The jump to the future sounds AWESOME, i really think there is alot that they could do with it, so i hope it does happen next year .

Can you imagine what storylines can happen between now and 5 years from now?????? how many deaths ((How many does guza make yearly? 5? so 5x5 = 25 deaths...so that leaves only, Carly, and the rest of the mob? lol.))

I really look forward to seeing what Guza does and what changes will be made and i actually think Guza needs to stay around if that is the storyline that is going to play out, if he leaves i understand why he isn't doing it.

Could you imagine creating this HUGE storyline only to be fired and have some other writer come in and 'destroy' all the hard work you put in???

Btw the idea of this storyline is of one of my favorite canceled shows REUNION.

The show took place in 2006 (ish) but told to story from the moment they left highschool 20 years ago to that moment, for the first 6(ish) episodes we didn't even know who died, then the episode aired where Samantha was the one talking, she was explaining everything and then at the end it turned out that it was just a video tape and Sam actually died! ARG that bugged me so much WHY??? but it made me care 10x more about who the killer was...

Well a few more episodes aired and then the axe swung and the show was canned.

We got told who the killer was but it was unofficial and well a bunch of unofficial 'killers' were revealed and used for international brodcast.

The main one that the writers were going with was her child that she gave up for adoption earlier in the series.

Anyways i am ranting again but Good episode, I loved all of ABC last week and well now i am sure i will dread GH.

I think AMC is alot better then you guys seem to be giving it credit for, AMC has been alot worse at least imo, OLTL is still the best abc soap and second best US soap that is airing (YR is sooo good).

I loved when Sonny killed Karpov. I loved the scene. It's about time Sonny got his balls back. I'm a Sonny fan, I like him for what he is, a jerk and all. I don't white wash his character, I leave that up to the Jason fans who white wash him. I've been watching Gh for close to twenty years now, I've always liked the jerk characters more than the heros. Except for Johny, Jason and Scotty, can't stand them.

Oh I forgot, the jump in the future, 1 year or 5, not a fan of. Housewives isn't a show you should model an idea around, no way. I would hate to see them do that. Though I have enjoyed story lines like that on primetime, like on Alias.

Sonny should be the biggest jerk on Gh, but the writers always make excuses for his behavior and always think that Sonny is misunderstand. He is a criminal and a narcissist bastard that the show should not evolve around him.
