Great Podcast. It was nice to hear what everybody thinks about different soap topics . . . particularly the DH/DH firing at Days. I understand the listeners who don't want to watch Days anymore . . . and, I don't blame them. I'm still gonna keep watching because it's a part of my routine, and I love this show. I don't love most of the decisions the brass have made, but I love the show. I guess I'll be going down with the Titanic, but, I still hold out some slim hope that Luke is right, and Corday is grooming the show to be sold to ABC. At least that way the show has a future.

I think Ken Corday should be forced to listen to this podcast, to fully understand just how much John & Marlena mean to some people, and how devastated they are. While I'm not crushed like they are, I have watched Days since I can remember--even my Dad used to watch sometimes w/me and Mom when I was a kid!--and now, when I watch OLTL (instead of Days) and see how good it can be, I'm saddened, and wish that the show I used to love could be that good again.

This just shows the passion in soap fans....if we have passion why the HELL don't the writers?
