Former GH Star Gets "24"

Don't cry for him Argentina 'er DC'ers! Former General Hospital star, Sebastian Roche has snagged a recurring role on Fox's 24. Roche is set to play a hit man opposite the show's star Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer). The episodes are slated to air Nov. 23, Jan. 11 and 12 as a two-part season premiere. Another GH alum that will be on the show is Annie Wershing, who played the scheming Amelia Joffe, nemisis to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

Awesome! I loved this actor on GH but thought the show had absolutely no idea what to do with him. He was Pure Evil Jerry one day, Pure Nice Jerry another, Nice Jerry Who Was Really Evil another day day, then Misunderstood As Evil Jerry Who Really Had A Heart 'O Gold the next.
I love 24 and think SR will fight right in with this show.

Good for him! I am one of the few who has never seen 24 but maybe I'll check it out if Sebastian is going to be on.
GH is run by a bunch of morons who continue to cast away fabulous, potential filled actors - I'm glad to see this one find such a wonderful home outside of daytime. Daytime TV is seriously testing my patience lately with such castaways.

I glad for Sebastian. Hated Jerry Jax/James Craig, but love the actor. He will be greatly appreciated on a show for his full potential instead of being hijacked with dumb s/ls and bad writing that is known for Gh now. Good luck SR.

He taped his episodes of 24 a while before he was let go - in early summer, IIRC. It was in one of the magazines back in June or July that he was taking off some time to do a few of them.
