I love reading the Coronation Street/Hollyoaks stuff even though I don’t watch the shows, lol! And I remember Stephenie Beacham from her “The Colbys” days (John you’re not old like me: it was a spin-off of Dynasty, lol) But of course *my* show is Eastenders!! Thanks for all the links to interviews/stories! I can’t wait to read them So Archie is “misunderstood” not evil, huh? Well, I’ll have to read the interview and see if he can convince me of that, lol. 10 Million for the Bianca/Whitney/Tony climax!? AWESOME!!! Great story and Great climax!! Thanks again John! ********************************** DaisyClover (aka SamBot #1) Log in to Reply Johnathon December 22, 2008 Yea i looked that up and i was like..”Okay” lol, but i thought she was more well known from Dynasty…should i change it to The Colbys? Yep, more people tuned into see the Climax then see Bianca and Ricky’s return to EE. I have to say I am really tempted to start watching Emmerdale, though some of the things i have been hearing frustrate me to no end lol. Hollyoaks is going to be soooo good in 2009, at least it has the potential to be lol. I do not understand why they are doing one of the pairings though , I mean Justin deserves a storyline with a actual future, i mean his whole family is dead, his girlfriend is dead, he can’t have custody of his son, and he was living with Ste -.- its just depressing because I know the actor can handle a meaty storyline -.-. ———– A.K.A. ssjohn Log in to Reply AnthonyL December 22, 2008 Stephanie Beachum was on the last season of Dynasty. But, she got her start on The Colbys. So either one is accurate. I’m interested in seeing her on CS, I must say. And Maxwell Caufield on Emmerdale? I heard that awhile back and I couldn’t believe it. It just seems kinda strange…. but a gig is a gig. Since were talking about the Colbys, I loved him on that show…. so I’ll have to check him out. Log in to Reply tgable07 December 22, 2008 John what do u think of the Sarah/Zoe thing? Log in to Reply soapjunkie88 December 22, 2008 Oh “The Colbys” better gets forgotten. “Dynasty” is fine. And Beacham rocked in Season 9 when she played opposite Joan Collins. And with Beacham’s former on-screen son Maxwell Caulfield on “Emmerdale” there are two actors from the “Dynasty” universe on British soaps. Log in to Reply Johnathon December 22, 2008 And thus two reasons to pick them up! lol hey had to try. @Tgable07 — I am so far behind on hollyoaks its not even funny -.-, but my initial reaction was “wow” lol, I actually dont like it. And here are my reasons, so don’t attack me lol. I just don’t see Sarah as a real relationship ala John paul/Craig, even though Craig was all “I’m not gay” (Which by the way i can totally here him saying in my head because he has said that stupid line so many times lol) you knew that Craig and John Paul were eventually going to lead up to ‘something’. They are taking Sarah/Zoe from a completely different direction, and i just dont know, Sarah HATED John Paul and Craig for what they did to her, she HATED and blamed John paul for almost killing her best friend. ((John paul being the key to Hannah’s Anorexia)). Also it seems kind of sudden, but like i said i am so far behind its not funny, it also depends on how they play it. But i do have to say if any show can pull a storyline like this off it mite as well be Hollyoaks lol. ———– A.K.A. ssjohn Log in to Reply daisyclover1938 December 22, 2008 That’s right! Maxwell Caulfield was on The Colbys too! I forgot about that! ********************************** DaisyClover (aka SamBot #1) Log in to Reply tgable07 December 22, 2008 Well John… I have to admit, Sarah/Zoe (Soe???) is intriguing just b/c of the issues that it raises: 1)they are the same sex 2)they are best friends 3)Zoe is dating Sarah’s dad Log in to Reply AnthonyL December 22, 2008 I actually think the whole Sarah/Zoe thing was a tacky stunt. I don’t think they’ll go anywhere with it once it’s revealed. But that’s just IMO. I haven’t seen any spoilers or anything. And for Sarah to do this seems wrong given how she hated John Paul for what he ‘did’ to Hannah (though Hannah ‘did’ that to herself). And Craig’s ‘I’m not gay’ mantra is so tired. It’s one reason why I never cared for the John Paul/Craig coupling and why I never understood why John Paul threw over a decent guy for Craig, who hadn’t grown or changed one bit. But, I guess I’ve gone off topic….. Log in to Reply Johnathon December 22, 2008 I actually couldn’t stand FK, i was so happy when he died, Spike I didn’t really mind as much. It does seem like a ‘stunt’ but they are going to be exploring it more, and we shall see. I don’t like that Sarah is cheating with his Father’s girlfriend, that part i don’t like at all. ———– A.K.A. ssjohn Log in to Reply Brooke December 22, 2008 Ha! Archie is misunderstood my foot!! He’s just a mean old man! 10 million tuned in to watch the climax of the Tony/Whitney/Bianca s/l eh? Well they wouldn’t have been disappointed. Thanks for the spoilers J :=) Log in to Reply Darren Lomas December 22, 2008 Great to see UK soaps on DC! I’m looking forward to Hollyoaks, just for the Louise/Warren showdown. Oh, how I wish it were Mandy getting killed. My problem with Hollyoaks is its focus on the teens – I get really bored with them. And the Zoe/Sarah hook-up I don’t care about one jot. Sarah just annoys me. Zoe rocked when she was with Darren (Osbourne, not me)… they had chemistry you don’t get with most of the kiddie actors. I miss those two As for Corrie, I loved Carla/Liam, and I can’t wait to see what’s coming up for her and what her murdering hubby is gonna do next… EE is too depressing for me, plus I watch too many soaps, but I’m sure Janine’s return will shake things up. Log in to Reply daisyclover1938 December 22, 2008 EE is too depressing for me, plus I watch too many soaps, but I’m sure Janine’s return will shake things up. Oh Darren, if you can get through the heartbreaking tragedy of Phoebe’s death on B&B then surely EE can’t be too depressing for you, LOL. ********************************** DaisyClover (aka SamBot #1) Log in to Reply Darren Lomas December 22, 2008 Phoebe’s death was just awful… almost comic… at least EE has a bit more class. My mum watches EE, but I prefer Corrie’s humour…. and Carla/Liam were smokin’ HOT! Log in to Reply Johnathon December 22, 2008 Oh i totally agree, and i can’t believe Liam is dead -.-. I Haven’t really liked any of Sarah’s pairings since they made Will go all psycho, and yea Hollyoaks does have more of a focus on the teens, but my problem was it was the “Mcqueen” show, i like the McQueens but they were on EVERY SINGLE DAY, NON STOP -.-. I am still having a hard time getting into Corrie, i mean i enjoy watching it, but it hasn’t sucked me in, I am enjoying Peter’s storyline though. ———– A.K.A. ssjohn Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
