Even w/the horrendous snubs (and there were many, including Milk and The Dark Knight for Best Pic Drama), this is a good set of noms.

The ppl who I really want to take home Globes are Sally Hawkins (for her enduring performance), January Jones (for her beautiful performance as a conflicted 60's housewife), Gabriel Byrne (this was acting 101 at its finnest), Blair Underwood (to make up for his inexcusible Emmy snub), Viola Davis (who should win the Oscar), and In Treatment (the best piece of ensemble acting on TV).

Soap related fact of the day: The late Emily McLaughlin (ex-Jessie, GH) has been the only actress to be nom for a GG for a role on a soap.

I saw a sneak preview of Curious Case of Benjamin Button and am not sure how Cate Blanchett didn't get a nomination. She was awesome.

I saw a sneak preview of Curious Case of Benjamin Button....

I haven't seen that one but I did see The Curious Medical Case of Sam McCall. It was very interesting, to say the least. It was in VD... er, 3D.

That one's for you, samrocks!Wink You don't call me out like that and not expect to get got! And since you Sam fans have such foreskin... darn it, excuse me... tough skin, I'm sure you all can take it w/ a grain of salt. Smooches!Laughing out loud

And before any of you start I am NOT a Sam hater I have written my fair share of snarky comments about the Maternal One aka The Human Incubator aka Easy Bake Oven aka Slip-and-slide Lizzie Borden.

What's Brothers & Sisters gotta do to get a series nomination? And, for that matter, Matthew Rhys and Dave Annable?

Plus, I've always hated how leads get their own sub-sections (drama/comedy/miniseries), but supportings all get lumped into one.
