General Hospital: Perkie's Observations

I loved the Lucky/Luke scene. These two are always great together, but so rarely get scenes. It's nice to see them out of the bumbling idiot cop and wacky hijinx lug we so often see.
I loved the Luke/Alexis scene. They haven't shared time together in a while either.
I'm so tired of Sonny's tiresome woe is me, Jason is being mean to me crap that he's constantly pulling. Why he thinks he could treat Jason like dirt for years and not expect Jason to get tired of it is beyond me. I hate when Sonny makes me defend Jason.
Memo to Jason: the nice Fed guy just offered you a giant Christmas present with a big red bow on it. Take it.
Loved that Maxie pointed out that Johnny should pay part of the rent, but I hated that Lulu is too stupid to see it. Even Johnny agreed to it. But no, ShrewLu had to get all snarky. Again.
While I appreciated Sonny pulling one over on Anthony by having Claudia stay in the room, I was annoyed by Claudia's thank you afterwards. Like she's getting crumbs from this guy and that's fine by her. UGH.
Why would Alexis meet with Sasha at night, in the dark, on the dangerous piers? And she's all, "I just have to press a button and the police will be here". Well sure, but you'll be dead before they get there. I know it was so that Sam could overhear, but still.
And Sam, why stick around to make the phone call and subsequently get caught? She's not really good at this whole cloak and dagger that she claims to love so much.

Elizabeth saw Sasha at the police station but Sasha said that they saw one another at the hospital. I wondered if a scene was cut out. I suppose the same could have happened with Sam in the van but the van could have also have been headed to the docks.
Alexis and Sam both lack common sense.

Heavens, I loath Jason with a passion. I mean, Jason is always right, I just can't stand that character, really. I hope something really bad happens to him, but since Jason is the only savor that GH has, according to Frons and Guza, it ain't gonna happen. I'm just so tired of it always be everybody else's fault and never really Jason's. It's Sonny's fault Jason is in the mob, it's Carly's fault Jason did this or that, it's Sam's fault, it's everything. Why can't Jason just be a bad guy with out all the white wash, just be the mob guy who isn't a hero. People would still like the character. I know all the Jason fans will say, it is Sonny's fault, it is Sam's fault. Well, the writers wrote Jason like that, because Jason Quartermaine was a bore and would of been let go if not for the accident. I've got a question, is Jason no longer brain damaged? Cause that never goes away. The FBI guy was like you were brain damaged or what ever. Um, you never recover from that, come on people. Remember when Jason couldn't read maps, he would never be able to, that doesn't mean he can't function. But I'm pretty sure Jason can read maps now. That Port Chalres, it's the city of miracles. Matt's okay afet three days, Alexis is cancer free, Kate is fine, Jason is Jason.
Man, they really hate Sonny don't they. Poor MB, poor alot of people.
Poor Lucky, he has no luck with women. I mean he gets kidnapped and brain washed, his prostitute girlfriend dies and all his other women leave him for Jason.
Are they rewritting asgain, no way was Alexis playing Jerry, no way. That air head was in it to stay in it.

ladyofthelake - nice post. i concur. i too am confused by the lack of follow through with jason's brain damage. mostly the "i can't lie and know when others are." i mean he's been lying for years now and if his super power of knowing someone else was lying still existed he would have known about jake from the get go and saved us all alot of misery. although when he did find out he still chose sam... i digress.
i would just like to say thank you and i'm in love with whomever did anthony geary's hair yesterday. not only were his scenes with greg and nancy a breath of fresh air, but he looked really good in them.

let me just add that lulu seems to be the odd person out whenever maxie is around. johnny gets along with maxie, they have chemistry, they seem level-headed. spinelli gets along with maxie wonderfully and johnny and spinelli seem to have some understanding. then there's lulu. she's loud, annoying and defies sense. by the way how does she have money to afford a place either? if i were the girls i would readily accept a third person helping with rent. lulu needs social skills. of course when your role model is carly what can you expect?

sueboo54321, that right. Summer was Luke's friend, he saw her from behind and she reminded him of Laura. Then she started dating Lucky. I can't recall how she dies. Did the Cassadine's play a part in it? I'm drawing a blank.
blackjack21, I had completely forgotten about the fact that Jason couldn't lie or tell when others did. Wow, that was dropped awhile ago. For me, I started noticing that they were back tracking some of Jason's known problems when he was with Courtney. I mean he was lying, flying threw windows to save everybody. I'm not saying it was because he was with Courttney, I'm just saying I started to notice that they dropped some of the stuff during that time.
