Good to have you back Regan. Always enjoy your write ups:) I haven't watched the show in over a week and refuse to watch until they return my girl Kate back to the forefront without distorting her character to benefit others..I'm not holding my breath.

I'm not a Liz fan but I surely do not want to see her go in exchange for SJB staying or Nat returning or dare I say LLC getting contract status. That just ain't cool. (Unless of course it is her choice and then I say more power to you - surely there are greener pastures out there than GH these days.)

I hope you enjoyed the holiday and you were missed. As I have stopped watching my online time has picked up and it has left me a little blue. I can not believe how nasty the Jasam and Liason fans are with each other (this site is a rare exception). It's just fiction. I really miss Liason but it was written like crap. I'm not looking forward to Jasam but I think that is mostly because of all this redemption garbage. I understand that the Sam fans felt badly about how the couple( were ripped apart for Liason but come on this is a soap opera. They also feel like Sam was written to be a crazy person. Again, this is a soap. Now, I'm not against Sam but I have to admit that was the first time I was really interested in her character. I could buy into her as a crazy bitch. Also, I love BH and will be a bit sad if she leaves the show but I think that this LL2 stuff is going to be as boring as watching grass grow. The promise of both Liason and Lusam were putting opposites together. Both couples had good chemistry. Their failures (if you can really call them that) were completely due to the writing. I know this is a soap but I still expect characters to change over time. The whole idea that Jason will come to be part of Jake's life but forgot a relationship with Liz is so strange since that was the whole reason they can't be together. My New Year's wish is for a new writing and production team for GH.

The "expressionless dweeb" would be Lucky IMO...RH is brilliant. And rumors of her leaving pop up every so often. Doesn't mean they are true.
I saw that New Years promo again yesterday and I noticed the LL2 and Jasam scenes were cut. Gives me a glimmer of hope.

Spoilers: Not really looking forward to a PPD story. I just don't think GH does issue stories well (anymore). Not happy about Olivia sticking around - the character does nothing for me. I've been thinking that the cast is already so big right now, they've got to be letting some people go, so I'm curious if there really are going to be deaths coming up. I'm *really* hoping that Olivia dies. That would be a way to introduce Dante...

As far as the Becky RUMORS go... yes they are just RUMORS and one time in the past there was TALK of her leaving. This time around, we know she's unhappy and with her contract coming up in 2009 for a renewal, she COULD be leaving.

Olivia... they seem to be testing her against Jax. IF that doesn't work out and IF her part of the Dante story is a flop, I wouldn't be surprised to see LLC go.

I don't see RH leaving - personally I couldn't care less if she stays or goes, but I don't see it happening. I'm sure she's frustrated w/ the show (as most actors probably are) but she's got a good job and since her husband doesn't work that much (not a slam on him - it's hard being an actor), I just don't see her leaving. Unless her hubby is doing really well with the juice stuff, I think she's sticking around. Maybe TPTB will promise her a good story to keep her around (like they did with Ric Hearst)

It's WAR! Sonny and Jason will be battling. Jason will pick Spinelli over Sonny and Sonny will continue to push Jason's buttons by landing shipments in Jason's territory. Jason will make a strike against Sonny in warning.

Carly and Jax MAY be making their way to a reunion but it will have the typical Guza angst and a chem test for Jax and Olivia.

Nadine's patent... The government wants it.

More Family? More Romance? More Hospital? Say it isn't so? GH is finally going to balance it's canvas a bit. We'll see... RUMBLINGS say TPTB want the balance back but is GH actually capable of producing that?

Sorry blackjack.... its as Jason turns on Sonny. The RUMOR which could very well be fanfic says that Michael comes out of his coma but no one knows. He'll leave the facility and stay in the shadows as he watches his family. He'll see Jason giving the feds info on Sonny. Like I said, could be fanfic. But it's out there.

Rebecca's Husband... He does have a part in monavie (the juice) but he was also studying to be an attorney. Not sure if he finished his studies but last I heard, he wasn't trying to be an actor any longer. RUMORS, RUMORS, RUMORS. Where would we be without them?

I really do not want a Jasam redo. Even the thought of Lucky and Liz trying yet again bores the hell out of me. A reunion of Carly and Jax has about as much appeal as a Carly-Sonny reunion. None whatsoever.

I do hope Jason gets his head together and feeds all the info he to the Feds. There was a time when Sonny was a somewhat sympathetic character. I didn't want him busted by the police or the feds. But that changed long ago. I wish the feds would get him and throw him in a dark closet and throw away the key. That would go a long way to improving the show.

I'm looking forward to Natalia's re-introduction to the show as a new character. I'm hoping Jax has something to do with it. I wouldn't put it past Jerry Jax to have something to do with it too. If that really was Jerry Jax. I don't remember Jerry as being that smart, certainly not as craft and sly as Mr. Craig. I for one would like some closure on Jerry Jax/Mr. Craig. Maybe as GH addresses the phony drug problem they will give us more information about him.

I really do NOT want a redemption of Claudia. She and Johnny, her beloved brother, hired the shooter to kill Sonny. Whether there was another shooter, thus exonerating the deadly duo, is immaterial.

I'd really like to finish the Sam-Alexis story. Who is Sam's father? Did Helena know? Seems like Helena really needs to be brought up to date about her family extentions. Where is she? When are we going to see Nicholas flex his Cassadine muscles? Is he reallly going to let Jax take over Spoon Island?

Maybe GH should hire me to write some of their stories for them. I couldn't do any worse than what we are being subjected to. I understand the concept of conflict, but I also believe that stress relief is necessary to make new conflict believable.

Re: SORAed Michael. Is that why we just saw Michael yesterday? So they can pull a rapid aging with Michael slinking around like Carly did when she escaped from the luxury asylum? Seems like if they were going to awaken Michael with a new actor they wouldn't want us to remember the old Mikey.

so much potential with what you have spoiled. Really hoping that it plays out well on screen. Looking forward to Spixie and JaSam (listened to a podcast last night on a potential JaSam reunion and the enthusiasm for my favorite couple was off the charts.)

Olivia and Jax would be surprising to me. LW is a fan favorite and carly has been front burner forever. If we ended up with Jolivia, Claudia with Sonny and Jason with Sam, not sure where that would leave Carly in terms of a match - unless they are going to go with Clic and reunite Carson?

I wouldnt be surprised if RH left for a bit and came back in a bit. Give her a shot to go for primetime. GH would take her back without question so it would be smart for her to take her chances now. There was a time that an actress could make a career out of one soap - that time has come and gone.

I want that Girl Spinelli OUTTA THERE! This is just more PIMPOLOGY to try to not give us Spixie!!! That Frons wants us to go hard on him like he's Corday or Ellen Wheeler is what he wants! I am still in black sack cloth over Liason and now he's trying to mess with Spixie!

I just wanted to say that although the GH Christmas episode was nicely mob-free, it really was trite, seemingly rushed and forced. There were no happy family get togethers save for Luke and his miserable kids talking on the phone with their mom and the Quartermaines Scrooge-ness felt like it was put it in solely to satisfy the fans demand to see them. It was nice to see Monica with Alan, but he's still dead and a ghost so it was kind of irrelevant. The best part of the scene for me was Alan naming all of the men that Monica had affairs with. Couldn't one of those affairs have led to a secret kid we don't know about so we could revive the Q's as a core family. The only nice family feeling was from the Drake/Scorpio's remembering Grandma Filomena and her cookies. Also, the flashbacks of Robin telling Mac she tested positive for HIV and a Christmas with Stone was wonderful but unfortunately, it was a painful reminder of what GH used to be and could be again if the writing team was changed starting at the top. Sweet but once again, not that meaningful. But the worst part of it for me was that the whole premise of the episode revolved around Spinelli meeting the "real" Santa Claus and delivering all the special gifts to each family. Considering that Spinelli does not have that much history with the show, I thought it was not as poignant coming from him. Besides, the whole Santa is there to teach Spinelli the meaning of Christmas did not seem in character to me. Of anyone, Spinelli seems like he would consider the holiday to be a big deal, considering he runs around with criminal cynics all day long but manages to keep up his cheery disposition and all his geeky, peppy slang. If anyone needed a lesson in the meaning of Christmas, it should have been Sonny or Jason or Carly even. Someone who is in dire need of that kind of moment. Basically, I felt it was a big tease of this is sort of what it could be like if the writers backed off the mafia BS for while and started to create human, organic, character-driven stories instead of repetitive violence, misogyny and immoral leading heroes getting away with yet another crime the likes of murder, theft and whatever it is that they actually import/export to make a living. Give these people lives and inject them into the framework of the rest of the canvas but instead the reverse has happened. The core, legacy veteran characters have had to fit (barely) into the soulless world of the mobsters and the dependent, needy, insecure women in their lives who risk their lives for these losers.

On a positive note, I LOVED Friday's episode, the beginning of Patrick and Robin's wedding. Now that showed us the real way the GH could be written on a daily basis, incorporating the mob into the central core of the hospital staff and the Q's and the law-abiding citizens of Port Charles. Not the other way around. I was so happy that Sonny decided to leave the wedding before anything bad could happen. At least he was self-aware that he brings negativity everywhere he goes. Besides his physical good looks, I do not understand why any woman would even like him let alone fall madly in love with him. There used to be a Sonny who was lovable, a rakish rogue bad boy with a good heart but now he is just a shell of the person with a bad temper, no humor and nothing enticing at all about him. I cannot wait to watch yesterday's finish of the wedding and see the relationships and familial connections that make soap operas what they should be, a reflection of human emotion and the ups and downs of life. Please Frons, Phelps and Guza - wake up or jump ship! Is there anyway to get Robert Iger (Pres. of ABC) involved and let him know? If there is anyone i would want to contact about my feelings, it would be him. Take it to the top!

Jamey, this is Fronsie, take what the viewers like and wreck it, that's his motto! It's all a bunch of BS. All I can say is the man must have a great body guard he is comfy with that walks him to his car or maybe his space ship, he seems to be way out there, he sure isn't making alot of friends.

Hi Regan hope you had a great xmas and have a good new year ,I know the random crazy rumor spoilers don`t come true I really hope this one doesn`t Robin being committed for PPD is really lame and when Carly then played by Sarah J Brown had PPD she wasn`t committed and I have never heard of anyone being committed for having it ,This storyline like so many others has been droped and then pick tem up again and again,As for Claudia`s redepmtion storyline way does she need redepmtion in the frist place because she`s married to him or just because that`s the way Guza wants it either way I don`t really that much for Claudia I don`t feel sorry for at all not one bite maybe for marrying Sonny .
