Ok, so how crazy is this? Sasha gets away to, Jason knows she was involved in Jakes kidnapping so why is leaving Jake and Liz unprotected and staying away from them the thing to do? What do they think we are idiots? Regan, do you know if Jason even gets to hold Jake after he is saved? Today is my first official non DVR day for GH, after Friday I can't watch anymore.

Do you have any info on rumors? In addition to the onscreen stuff, I read that there are several actors whose heads are on the chopping block, and that when the dust settles it will be only the "young and beautiful" as well as the mob. Any info?

Ok, Liasonaddict, That is not funny (I'm laughing my Liason loving but off, that's not the part of her body she is usually using, but it's attached so I can see that), thanks. We need something to make us laugh, only until Fronsie falls on his face along with the ratings, then that will do just fine.

Frons and Guza... different or the same? I'm not sure Frons is the mob's cheerleader to the extent that Guza is BUT he is big on Sonny, Jason, Sam, Carly, Johnny, Lulu, Claudia... all mob players to some degree. Frons is a Sam fan and we all know that Sam fans are not typically Elizabeth fans so I wouldn't be surprised when Elizabeth is back on the back burner.

IF all the RUMBLINGS are correct, we SHOULD be seeing LuSam trying to make it work but they're on opposite sides of the law so to speak. Sam wants the rush that comes along with chasing after mobbies, Lucky wants her to stop putting herself at risk.

There were some RUMORS that the upcoming arc for 2009 got an overhaul. It's a standard practice for some changes but this time the RUMORS say it was a HUGE overhaul of what's coming up.

Some SAY Frons is also a fan of the Claudia - Sonny pairing.

ABC has issued across the board cuts... in pay and in cast. DO NOT be surprised to see some people leave in 2009, some being asked to go to recurring status and if Susan Lucci had to take a pay cut, I am sure some GH'ers will be as well.

So it's a problem that Sam is no longer the big bad guy on GH. But there was no problem when she and Lucky were thrown under the bus for Liason and was made to do all those OOC things. I know how you Liason fans feel like you got shafted and messed over. I myself don't want Sam with Jason but I do see how ya'll feel I felt the same way with JaSam.

i don't get it. clearly i feel sam has already done penance for her huge mistakes. everyone was already past this, including jason and liz. why all the drama now? sam lost a child so she clearly knew and knows she screwed up. i like jason and sam together. she has apologized up the kazoo, yet how could they ever be together or even want to? as far as i know he's never said he was sorry for threatening to kill her. she at least deserves that. i see them in story together without being a couple. i'm just as frustrated as liz/jason fans, but at the same time, again not a big liz fan.

okay the last time frons dictated stuff didn't we have years of courtney/carly/jason/sonny? 'cause i didn't watch during that time.

I am guessing the big rewrite relates to ric-claudia-sonny. I cant wait to see how this story unfolds.

What else can we expect for SuperlativeSam? Looking forward to this as well - although I hope Lucky tries to work with Sam's adventerous side! I am still waiting for Sam and Spin to open up a detective agency - the platonic version of Flea and Mac's old agency.

Plus my morning was made with just one little phrase: Lizard back on the backburner. I sure hope so!

Personally, I don't think it's a problem that Sam is no longer the bad guy, although I never really saw her that way (except for Jake's kidnapping 1.0 and the armed men mess). My problem is I don't want to go back in time because TIIC think that's what they need for ratings. MY FEAR and what most likely will occur because time is of the essence to get these show's ratings up, is that all this will be rushed and forced and what the fans want will be ignored in the process. And no Sam fans, I am not necessarily talking about Liason fans. MOST fans are sick of the mob and want a return to classic soap with love and romance and true character development. Hell you love killing people so much Guza... give me a good murder mystery that isn't centered around the mob. You love angst so much... give me a love story that has the right amount of time and attention given to it. STOP with the repetitive BS.

Yes... because Sarah signed on for another year, that is part of the rewrites BUT the SCOOP getting out there is more than just that storyline.

I actually have enjoyed watching Lucky and Sam together. From most of the soap sites I have visited it seemed to me, anyway, that there was a large Jason and Liz fan base. The way the whole story of Jason and Liz has played out this past year has been really disapointing. Regan, where did they base their decision to break apart a relationship that never really was? Have rating increased with Jason and Sam sharing more screen time? GH is so inconsistent these days it is just too bad!

Ok you do have the right to fell that way but it's like why do she get to do this why is she on so much and now she is the most pimped person ever and thats nowere near true. That she has been this way for along time but some ppl want to scream foul. I'm not saying you have to like her or change your mind.

Not sure I understand - what did it change from and too? Not just the storyline? the pairing too? Maybe my brain is frozen - we have enough snow here that could be the case.

Also agree about not wanting things rushed. If the do go the JaSam route, clearly there are a lot of issues that would have to be addressed in order for fans to accept it. I am sad that most of the LuSam love story happened off screen. As you know, my preference would be for a lucky/sam/jason triangle ala sonny/brenda/jax

I saw Nelson Branco's blind item about what male lead is getting paired with his former flame again-and something about always wiping his lips after he had to kiss her and he is not happy with being paired with her again.

The arc for 2009? Well the Claudia stuff has been changed for the obvious reasons.... Because of casting difficulties some SAY the Dante story is being re-worked. The change up in the quad is being adjusted per Frons' directives. Some other stuff was most likely adjusted due to the impending cuts that SHOULD be popping up on GH.

No one couple or person can raise the ratings like you said it's good writing and s/l an overall good show no so onesided. Like OLTL uses all of there characters and has pretty good s/l. And really there is so much negative on this show which is BS how long has somebody been happy.

There was lots of GOSSIP regarding Steve and Kelly. It's no secret that he prefers to be paired with Elizabeth and has said in the past he feels Jason should really be a loner. BUT in the end, it's not really his choice and he's paid to do his job.

That doesn't sound real to me one cause some ppl like to make it seem as if SB wiped his mouth all the time when he kissed KeMo when he didn't it wasn't even half the time. And myself if a person hated working with somebody so much he had to wipe his mouth so much why would kelly work with him if he felt that way.

While I would *love* less mob on GH, I don't see it happening. Frons might not be as obsessed with the mob as Guza (is anyone as mob obsessed as Guza?), but as far as I can tell, the mob is here to stay. I've said this before, I honestly don't see GH as a mob-like show, it *is* a mob show.

I've talked about this with a certain Team Sam friend of mine, and it just seems like the mob is GH's "thing", it's "brand" so to speak. It's what makes it different from all the other shows, so imo, it's always going to be center stage.

To a certain extent that's okay. Obviously there are some things fans like about it (look how popular Jason is!) I think most of us would agree that we'd like the mob stuff if the writing were just better, a lot better.

Well, I'm still not convinced that a JaSam reunion is in the works, but we'll see I guess. I'm hoping they'll do justice to LuSam I'm looking forward to Sam/Alexis stuff
