Here's the Scoop! 12.11.08
Robin's baby woes continue... Hopefully the RUMORS are true and it ends soon. The LATEST? The Jackal steps in and helps the distressed mom. Why does Robert say no to walking his little girl down the aisle? He thinks Mac deserves the honor more than him but his brother sets him straight and Robert will be giving Robin away. Robin gets a Christmas present, she's able to calm Emma. The Christmas Eve episode SHOULD be Robin and Patrick's wedding.
Sam's dream sequence... It's SUPPOSED to be while she's trapped at the bottom of the pit. Some scenes that were to be included in that MAY have been cut according to RUMORS.
The residents of Port Charles are celebrating the New Year. Missing the romance? This episode is supposed to be full of it. RUMORS say there's a montage.
As always, be sure to check the comments. In case you missed out, here's what was dropped yesterday.
There are RUMORS/RUMBLINGS that casting difficulties are in fact putting the Dante story on hold. Bringing Michael out of his coma, earlier than planned, is one option the show MAY be considering.
As far as Dante's possible impact on Liason... Remember that's all a big MAYBE. Even if Dante is cast, it doesn't mean he'll impact Jason and Elizabeth. There are RUMORS that Dante not knowing who his father is had made an impact on the choices he's made and that had he known he was Sonny's son, he MAY have made different decisions. Who the hell knows anymore...
2009 Previews hitting print....
Have you all seen the promo where the voice over tells us we'll be shocked? I didn't post it since the promo department gets an A for misleading but an F for actual information. And remember that twist Guza has been promising? WELL HOLY HELL it is shocking and it is a twist.... IT'S A STORYLINE THAT INVOLVES THE HOSPITAL!
He admits his never seen in daytime before stunt that was delayed is similar to the MC crisis... hey its GH, re-do is what they do best. He promises old romances, a new romance and secrets. Gee, secrets? No way! Not on GH! In fairness, he says some long held secrets MAY be getting out... FINALLY. Hospital Crisis will involve the entire canvas and Scrubs will be dealing with jobs, love, baby and the impending stunt.
Sonny vs. Jason... comes to a head.
Dante... Guza seems to be talking around the matter. He still suggests Dante is coming but we may not know its him when he arrives. Translation: GH is still trying to cast him and a back-up plan is in place to make someone Dante.
Claudia... Her role in Michael's shooting.
Kate... he teases her turning on Sonny, to a certain extent.
Like we didn't see it coming... JaSam and LL2 reunion talk.
TOTALLY FORGOT... and thanks to Luke for IM'ing while he's watching GH as it reminded me that I forgot to drop some Johnny SCOOP... As I said earlier GH, the best re-do writers around, is at it again. I mentioned Johnny may be working in a garage but what if they re-did a Sonny storyline instead? RUMOR has it that Johnny gets a job at a Christmas tree lot.
UPDATE on some of the above: The hospital crisis is RUMORED to involve bombs going off at General Hospital. Now, some of you may remember that those bombs were RUMORED once before when Jerry was SUPPOSED to be blowing up things all over town. These RUMORS go on to say that there will be death (budget cuts?), possibly two. Johnny's stint at the Christmas tree lot MAY have him interacting with a few PC residents as they come to buy their trees.
RANDOM and CRAZY RUMORS... Sarah Brown signed on for another year, that's long enough for a pregnancy storyline. RUMORS say Claudia may be in the family way but who will be the daddy? Ric or Sonny? IF those RUMORS are true, that means Claudia got her husband to sleep with her. Yet another RUMORED casting call for a young male to be added to the hospital side of things. Are the feds going to question Kate? Someone is lurking around GH. Another Re-do? Maxie walks in on a naked Johnny. Anyone remember when Nikolas, Gia, Elizabeth and Lucky were living together? Aunt Raylene's will is read and Nadine is in for a surprise. Jason gives Sam a Christmas gift.

Can't he just give it to her offscreen? I am really trying but I think it
is just rubbing salt open wounds. It feels personal to Liason fans, but especially for BH as she ends up with no storyline...despite promos pimping the opposite.
I really need to let this go. I keep asking why if TPTB were going to do this why did they plan Italy? Walk down the aisle? I might need a drug of choice soon. Is Jason available?
Is there anything to look forward to that does not involve the quad?

I stopped watching GH about 4 weeks ago; I stay up to date thru recaps and reading the spoilers. My frustration level is at an all time high due to the direction that they have taken with the show--specifically Jason & Liz. I do not hate Sam but I prefer her to be paired with anyone but Jason. I used to look foward to watching GH each night on Soapnet but now I actually just read a book. The eye candy (jason, johnny) is not even enough to bring me back to watching this show on a consisent basis.
Has anyone else stopped watching?

Regan if Jerry blows up the hospital were is everyone going to go when they get hurt ,Kellys was site on fire and Metro court was bomed so how many landmark in Port Charles do we have anymore .And long buried sercets and more come on enoungh already .I`m glad that SB and RH spoke out about Liz and Jason`s break up because both actors are right that there is more to play with Jason and Liz and once again Guza makes a big mistake and doesn`t see it ,Jason vs Sonny has been along time coming .

Hi Regan, thanks for the post on the SB & BH article, god they are so beautiful together, they are really going to move on the Sam thing, I turned on soapnet last night to catch Days and I caught the very end of GH with Jason and the music, PLEASE! Hrfmom, I am going to stop watching, but I must see the big good bye, call me a glutten for punishment, but I can't help it. Then it will just be me and OLTL, it is so awesome, especially lately.

That is not for Sam... why would Jason buy her a house? What Jason was talking about yesterday we will learn when Liason breaks up. Jason has set up an account with money for Elizabeth and the boys and her house has been bought for her. It will all look like Emily did this for her friend.

I'm not sure it's Jerry blowing up the hospital. He is returning, so that MAY be the case. Also, I doubt the hospital is totaled.

I have stopped watching until 3 days after the DVR has taped it. I heard that it does not register the ratings, and I have started watching GL again.
Truly it is not just about Liason. I could be happy to see Elizabeth move forward if they would just give her a real story outside of the quad or one of her dreams to come true, even if it was the artist one.
I have stopped watching because except for Spixie and Patrick/Scrubs, I do not know this show anymore. It used to be familiar to be and I could catch up with it. It was easy. It has stopped being that way for awhile now. The writing is poor, character development weak, and story lines fragmented.
When I do watch, it does not end well. I do feel that it was personal to BH and her fans to water down her role in the kidnapping and her time on screen. I do not think that Sam and Elizabeth would ever end up friends. That is a bigger shock to me than Sam and Jason reuniting within 10 business days.

This is my first post, but I’ve been a reader of DC for awhile now. Have to say that I’ve stopped watching GH and have kept up through spoilers and recaps because I, like many of you, hate the direction it’s going and poor quality being produced. Sad to see Liason over and can’t understand why. It took me several years to warm up to this couple but I totally see the chemistry. And honestly, wasn’t a fan of Sam’s until they paired her up with Lucky. That pairing made both of these characters interesting to me.
That said, I have a question that maybe you guys can help. If Jason and Sam are reunited where is the potential? And I don’t mean that as sarcastic…it’s an honest question. I mean, Sam accepts Jason’s entire lifestyle and has no problems or issues with it or the danger. So, where is there growth for these two by being together? A good storyline and a good couple is one that brings something to the mix. Returning to Sam seems to only bring Jason a warm body and the excuse to continue his mundane and boring path in life. And for Sam, returning to Jason does what for her? With Lucky, I thought there was a chance for her to help him heal and bring love back to him. And maybe, if GH could get it together, we could have a storyline with these two involving maybe a murder investigation…an on the run story that GH used to do so well. I would have enjoyed Sam being accused of a crime, Lucky being the only one believing her innocence (and maybe Alexis too) and the two of them working together to find the real criminal. But oh my god that would mean Lucky getting a brain and a PC cop actually doing a competent job! (Okay, that was sarcasm) But really, where are the potential for JaSam stories? Another kidnapping? A miracle baby? Boring.
