Here's the Scoop! 12.12.08
It's a typical Friday.... not a lot of SCOOP. Q& A DAY! Ask Away....
Liason's run ends today. Jason will tell Elizabeth about the money he's left in an account for her and the boys. I am not sure if he will tell her about the house or if she will know it was made to look like Emily left it all for her.
Punching out his frustrations? RUMORS say Jason works it out on a punching bag.
Lucky and Sam... Sam still wants to investigate the Russian mob. Lucky is against that. When Sam is rescued from the pit, its Lucky she wakes up to at the hospital. Will she be saying the right name as she awakes?
Are Skate headed down the same Liason Lane? Were they broken up to facilitate the Carly Claudia and Sonny pairing? RUMORS say that MAY be the case. Is this another Frons mandated pairing in hopes to boost ratings? Why else would pairing Sonny with the woman responsible for Michael being in a coma be a good idea? I will give them this, it does have some good story potential but that is only if they actually move towards revealing Claudia's role in the shooting. There are RUMORS that we'll see more of Sonny and Claudia getting closer. There are still RUMBLINGS that Ric and Claudia hit the sheets again.
Speaking of Michael... and really this should be a Random and Crazy Rumor considering Carson has seemed to forget about their comatose son. RUMORS say Sonny goes to visit Michael and Carly happens to visit at the same time. Will this be when Carly tells Sonny he can see Morgan? Not sure but RUMORS do say that Carly and Sonny will be mending their fences soon.
Diane drops Sonny. Sonny plants one on his wife.
Jason and Claudia scenes? It looks like Claudia tells Jason that she doesn't see how he and Sonny can kiss and make up.
The deal Jason is SUPPOSED to be offered? MAY happen next week as well. RUMORS also say that Jason tells Spinelli he should move out. Is this the start of Jason pushing everyone away?
Jerry resurfacing? Possibly next week and he has Claudia trying to cover her tracks.
Scrubs Wedding... It looks like it will be on December 26th. RUMORED to be a classic wedding. RUMORS say its a small family affair but there are also RUMORS that say Sonny attends.
Maxie and Lulu... The roomies MAY be getting a neighbor. Here's to hoping he's hot.
Holiday Episode? Spinelli as Santa's Helper? RUMORS galore about Santa's Jacket and magic glasses. Will Monica slip on the magic specs and see her hubby?
Rebecca Herbst.... She took a vacay so she'll be offscreen for a bit. Will it be more than a bit? RUMORS say she'll be in Sam's "dream" as Sam dreams about Jake's kidnapping. We MAY not be seeing much of Elizabeth though, even past the time away for Becky's vacation.
Guza's Stunt... He said it's "similar" to the MetroCourt Crisis. It appears it will be a flash forward where we go back in time to see all the events that lead up to that flash forward. The difference? It MAY take all the way to March to unfold the ending we will see in January.
Hitting the editing room floor... As we've told you before, it seems that plenty has hit the editing room floor lately. Here's an example: If you recieve the ABC Hotsheet in your email, you'll remember that said Jason would shoot Sam. It never happened.

As my user name suggests - I've never done this before. However, killing off of the Liason story is making me crazy. 10 years in the making and they throw it all away. Do you see any silver lining on the horizon?

Good morning Regan. So our beloved Liason is gone, so sad. Do you know if Liason will have any scenes together even if they are apart or will GH go on like they never knew each other . . . sigh.
Any truth to the rumors that if SB does not renew his contract Liason will ride off into the sunset together and RH will be the sacrificial lamb and let go from GH?
I really hate this show.

Ugh. Hate that they've paired Claudia with Sonny where there is so much more potential and so much more hottness with her and Ric. Smh. Dammit!
As for the whole JaSam reunion, I'm a HUGE fan BUT like many others have said, I don't want it rushed. Besides that, I really do love LuSam, breaking them up so abruptly will be just as heartbreaking as it was when they broke up JaSam...but holy hell, this is GH we're talking about...it'll most likely play the opposite way I want it to.

Diane yesterday was hilarious and Jason's staring and zoning off let you know exactly who was walking up before she even got there. The chemistry......I can't watch today, I just don't even want to see it:( I love my Liason and while I may boycott my show I will not give up the hope that TIIC will see what a monumental screw job they have given their fanbase and come to their senses. Not holding my breath, though.

Thanks Regan for the spoilers; this is the only way I keep up to date on GH since I stopped watching the show.
I am so fed up with this show. I like Natalia but why are they bringing her back? What have you heard about the casting of Dante? It would be great if they made him old enough to be with Liz; I really do not see her hooking up with anyone that is currently on the show.
Again, I am just so frustrated with the show. I know that Liason is ending but I just do not have the tolerance/patience to watch them break up AGAIN.
How is everyone else able to watch the show?

RE: Jerry's resurfacing - I have heard that Claudia begins to receive a series of DVD's from Jerry. Each DVD leads to another until she finds the final one which has the evidence that she set up Michael's shooting. This is supposed to start happening this week and the possibility that Sonny accidentally finds the last DVD could be true. Somehow, I don't think Frons and Guza would set up this MOC just for a few weeks for Sonny to find out the truth so easily and quickly. I think Claudia will probably get to it before Sonny and they will drag their marriage on. Any truth to this? Why else would Jerry even bother coming back to town if not to torture Claudia or anyone for that matter?
Also, I read in SOW, that Nadine's Aunt Raylene dies next week, leaving her (in her will) the patent to an invention for use in plow manufacturing for the farming industry. Nadine is determined to carry on her aunt's responsibility and legacy. Unbeknownst to Nadine, a company has their hands on the patent and is leasing it for nefarious and advantageous purposes. Could it be Quartermaine Industries, considering they pretty much have no business scruples whatsoever? And, is this whole s/l a way to bring Nadine and Nikolas closer? Even though I find her sometimes to be incredibly annoying, I actually like the pairing and think that Nikolas makes her more tolerable and seeing her through his worldly, sophisticated eyes is a nice touch. I just hope that if Natalia Livingston is coming back then she is not coming on to be a Emily look-alike to torture Nik and come inbetween him and Nadine. I would much rather see her come on as a different character, like Sarah Brown, but be completely the opposite of sweet, innocent, goody-good Emily and instead be a vampy, bitch on heels. I know that you guys just announced this casting but any news yet on what kind of role she will play?
GH is the 4th soap on my list of 4 soaps that I watch. Unfortunately, it has become an entirely different show then it used to be and to me, it isn't even a soap opera anymore. It's a bad, cheesy Soprano's wannabe. But I am a glutton for punishment and I continue to watch with the hope and prayers that it will someday get better. If only they would fire Guza and hire Sri Rao, Tom Casiello or DC's very own Jamey Giddens, I would know the show was in safe hands again. Since I FF through a good 80% of the show daily, I rely on recaps and posts like yours to truly keep up with the show. I am a die hard Y&R fan, used to think DOOL and GL were the greatest soaps and Ryan's Hope is my all time favorite show but GH, hands down, had the single greatest s/l in the history of soap opera. BJ's death and Maxie receiving her heart. Tragic, poignant, brutally sad but honestly hopeful and positive. It was everything a soap oepra should be and more. Paging Claire Labine. Don't TPTB realize that if they produced that kind of show, not only would the current martyred viewers rejoice but ex-viewers would turn back in and the possibility of gaining new viewers would actually be a reality?

hrfmom, I think alot of us still watch because we have this misguided and false sense of hope that something - anything - is going to go our way and we'll see the show we fell in love watching. Boy, are we suckers.
I'm sticking around to see how fast they rush into this quad re-pairing and for Claudia. I have a feeling I won't like the way either s/l goes.

It's about time that Skate ended...although I don't know how you could say that it's ended when it is just being revisited with Olivia. Same story line, just without the fashion world in the middle *rolls eyes*
So are Clic fans going to be screwed? Or is Ric going to finally get the girl and not Sonny? Unfortunately I see Sonny getting the girl and Ric getting nothing per the usual. Stupid, I should've known better than to fall for Clic...

I hate all of GH's black/darkness, doom and gloom. I was watching a biography yesterday on Rick Springfield. It struck me funny when they showed an old pix of him wearing a tshirt with Love in the Afternoon on it and General Hospital under that. What happened to this great show? Now they should have a tshirt with Mob/Crap in the Afternoon and General Hospital under that, all in BLACK of course!!

Afternoon Regan, the only good thing about the above spoilers is seeing one of my favorite pictures of Steve Burton. Other than that, I have nothing good to say today so I won't say a thing. Hears hoping that TPTB hear us complaining and cut alot more out of their script and the fast/forward or whatever they are trying to do will bring Liason back, don't care how just that they give them back to us. My first thought is if NL is coming back to big story, Claudia is now going to be getting lots of airtime as Sonny's wife, with CarSon's reunion and the potential solivia pairing also taking up time, it makes me glad that JaSam may be happening quickly. It seems that the airtime "pie" is getting divided up and the only way I will get to see my gal Sam is if she is tied to Jason. I would rather have had LuSam, but I guess they made the switch to keep KeMo from backburner oblivion. Olivia seems like a bit of a waste, and nl's return could go either way, but as long as I get my regular dose of KeMo, SJB and LW I will be a happy camper.
BTW I like the photos you picked of LW and RH. You always find the best ones.

Sam in the pit... Sasha's killed before they can get the info they need on Sam's whereabouts. Jason has been RUMORED to be the one to find her despite her boyfriend, Lucky the cop, knowing she's missing.
Robert's in remission. Home to see his daughter and granddaughter marry Patrick. If he's in remission can't Robert stick around? No need to send him back to the Swiss Alps or wherever he was, right?

I was so bummed - I feel like I have been waiting forever for today to get here and then Gov. Granholm decides to hold a press conference mid break-up. I caught part of the carly jason scene - awww. I guess I will have to watch the middle on line, hopefully it will be posted soon.
It already seemed to be that they are having Lizard turn back toward Lucky. I said this before, but I still see Lizard comfort sex on the horizon.

Not sure if Robert and Alexis have ever met.... that would be a Tina question. I'm pretty sure though that the only time they would have met (on our screens) would have been during the monkey virus storyline.
Please do not go there... Sam's getting Jason back, she cannot share a dad with Robin.... I can only handle so much.

I can't even comment about the Liason breakup today, it's too sad for words.
But thanks Regan for posting the tank pic of Jason, it's one of my favorites. I will alway's look at it and think of Carly telling him with her mouth agape something like, "Jason...put your shirt on.....I'm a married woman," and Jason being oblivious to her reaction.
