Primetime Ratings Woes
By Luke Kerr on December 01, 2008
Daytime isn't the only part of network TV suffering ratings declines. According to TV Week compared to last year's November sweeps CBS is down 3% in total viewers, ABC is down 11% while NBC comes in at third and Fox takes fourth.
Meanwhile, The CW lost 9% from last year in total viewers but is flat on the 18-34 and is up 21% among women in that demographic which means that The CW is the big winner among the five networks.

The CW is the "big" winner?! Should I start looking in the sky for giant astroids heading towards the planet?

Actually, the CW has a few quality shows. I love both Gossip Girl (obviously) and Privleged! I hope more people tune into Privleged before they cancel it.
I'm not suprised by the decline at all! The quality of has gone down. When we are forced to watch characters having sex with ghosts, then something is wrong!

See, I think there is a lot of quality on television. It's just that no one is watching. People would rather see people eating bugs and acting a fool for money or over some dumb man or whatever redundant mess that's being cranked out!

Oh I agree..when high quality shows like DSM, Pushing Daisies get cancled and the slots are filled with Ashton Kutcher's next reality show something is seriously wrong.
