All My Kids has finally figured out how they are going to write off the popular character of Greenlee Smythe (Rebecca Budig). Remember when I teased you with this blind item?
The upcoming exit of a popular soap character and the actress who plays her could result in a.) the character's iconic former love returning to escort her off the canvas. b.) the character being presumed dead in a very deja vu manner or c.) the character being killed off for real.
Well, it appears they're going with option b. TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco is reporting that AMC may have Greenlee die by falling off the very same cliff her one and only love Leo Dupres (Josh Duhamel) fell from all those years ago. Somebody has got to tell these soap divas to stay away from cliffs.

Though I like the character Greenlee as well as Rebecca Budig as an actress, I HATE the fact they broke her up with Aiden to put her back with Ryan. Therefore, I'd rather see her presumed dead then see her with Ryan. Matter of fact, why don't they just kill off Ryan and keep Greenlee. I'd be a happy camper!

If they are going to kill Greenlee they should give her heart to a dying Kendall. Josh's paternity should've been undone yesterday, so if I was Chuck and as soaptastic as it is I would have he labs made a mistake and then BAM, Josh isn't a Kane/Martin. But to get back on the Greenlee topic, I think it's an interesting way of getting rid of the character.

Well, on Days, when Jack was a victim of the Salem Serial Killer in '03, his wife Jennifer gave away his organs like it was a fire sale -- but that didn't keep him from turning up alive six months later. Of course, he was believed dead at least once more before he was sent to Cardboard England.

The reality is this s/l has made me wonder why they ever sent SS away and brought RB back. However, I think the character of Greenlee is too key to today's canvas to ACTUALLY kill her off, so, if they're gonna fake kill her, I hope they do it in good fashion. IMO, the only real resolution to this current s/l is to have Greenlee go a little paranoid nutso herself and not really have Crazy Annie responsible . . . but have Greenlee's paranoia be the catalyst for her "death". I hope TPTB do this right, AMC is starting to get back to a show that I want to watch everyday. I REALLY hope they do this right.

I'm actually surprised that AMC is doing this. For the longest time this show has repeatedly tried to drill into people's head that Ryan and/or Aiden was the love of Greenlee's life. The fact that they would in any way reference Leo is amazing to me!

Why are they bringing back Josh to give his heart to Kendall? Fans have never accepted this man as Erica's son.

RB isn't leaving so suddenly ... she only signed a 1yr contract. I'm going to miss her very much ... but it would be nice if both RB & JD came back ... maybe they can find each other in Atlantis.
God ... they were a great couple after Tad & Dixie!!
Where I liked Dixie until they made her into the town slut. WTG again TPTB.
