I was actually impressed and a little intrigued by the opening sequence, although by the end of the episode I had forgotten about it. I’m sure by the end of next week I’ll be so sick of it, it won’t be funny! The more I thought about it, the more I realized it’s exactly the same set up as the Metro Court explosion. Something’s happening and then we go back and watch every hour that leads up to it.
Why did Spinelli go to Sonny? To find out if Sonny knew what deal Jason made? To warn Sonny that Jason had made a deal? I hate the way Sonny treats and talks to Spinelli, but I don’t think Spin should be running around town, telling anyone who will listen that Jason cut a deal with the Feds.
Is Carly going to ask Jax’s permission every time she wants to see or speak with Jason and/or Sonny? Because that will get very tired very quickly. Also, not sure how I felt about Sonny giving free reign to Carly in his home with Claudia. If I were Claudia, I'd be pissed that my husband's ex is allowed to walk in whenever she wants, but at the same time, Claudia should have realized what freak show she was marrying into.
Matt/Maxie: Where did that come from? I get that they want these two to interact, probably as part of this sweeps stunt, but there should have been some scenes before this. Matt showing up at Crimson (how does he know she works there or where there is?) to ask Maxie out, out of the blue and then to insult her relationship with Spinelli, just made me scratch my head in confusion. The only saving grace was that it wasn’t JoLu!!
I was happy to see that Robin thinks that there might be something wrong, enough to go and question Jason about it, but at the same time I’m annoyed that Jason, yet again, is the problem solver. Couldn't she have gone to Lainie or discussed her fears with Elizabeth, a fellow mother. I was also a little annoyed at Liz’s brushing off Patrick’s concerns as well.
Show of hands, when Sonny said to Jason, “you made a deal against me to save Spinelli”, who else wanted Jason to laugh in his face and scream, “suck on that sucka”. Just me? Alrighty then!
Let the sweeps begin!
