HomeTVOne Life to LiveRaising Bree and Chloe: Natalie vs. Jessica Luke Kerr January 30, 2009 37 Comments It looks as if an all out war could erupt at any moment between Natalie (Melissa Archer) and Jessica (Bree Williamson) over who should care for Jessica’s daughters. Honestly, as much as I love Tess I’m sort of leaning towards Natalie for at least six months. Who do you want to care for Jessica’s children? YOU ARE NOT THEIR MOTHER. I wanted to slap the crap out of her today. How dare she they are not your daughters. After the crap you put Jess threw and the family threw how dare you act like you are miss perfect. i cant stand GNAT!!!!!!!!! AND THAT PATHETIC EXCUSE SHE GAVE ON HWY SHE DOES NOT WANT TO MOVE OUT. YOU DONT WANT TO MOVE OUT CAUSE YOU HAVE NO JOB! Log in to Reply season1217 January 30, 2009 I think Natalie’s “concern” is more about spite than actual concern. She was all supportive and lovey dovey with her sister until Jessica admitted that a part of her wanted Tess to kill her and Jared. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pushing Daisies – You will always be in my heart! Log in to Reply dellygrim January 30, 2009 I think Nat was right that Jess isn’t in shape to care for the kids. She was needlessly harsh about it and given the dynamic between the 2 sisters I don’t think Natalie should be stepping in. Maybe Viki is up to it or one of Jess’ brothers should come home to help out. Log in to Reply EricasEvilTwin January 30, 2009 I have to see more before I take a side. I think with Nat, yeah she is sick of getting the short stick with her parents, but I think she figured she would be turning the girls over to an integrated Jess and that Jess was inherently a good person. That she now sees Jess as someone who is willing and able to resort to murder obviously calls into question whether she is okay enough to be a stable presence for the girls. Ultimately there will be anger, but what interests me more is what happens with Hope when its discovered that she isnt chloe. Will Nat want Starr to let her adopt as the only mother the girl has known. Will Starr still want to go through with the adoption. Where does Marcie fit into that equation. ************************************************* Ditch the bitch, Save the World….Exterminate the Lizard. Bag the Ho. Make her Go. Log in to Reply east.west January 30, 2009 Thank you Luke for coming up w/this post b/c I have some stuff to say. Who in the bloody hell does Natalie thinks she is? Sure the girl was basically those girls momma for that time Jess/Tess/Bess/rumored boy alter was doing all that stuff, but all of this could’ve been prevented if she and her “David Vickers lite” beau didn’t kill the love of 2005-2008/Bree’s daddy. And yes this is a soap and kudos to Melissa Archer for finally acting and bringing all of this emotions out of me, but that is how I feel. One of those girls are Jess so she has no say and should be licking her sisters feet. TEAM JESSICA BABY!!!!!!!!!!! Log in to Reply Daniella1030 January 30, 2009 Natalie keeps dwelling on what Tess did. Tess, not Jessica tried to kill them. Maybe she needs to be reminded that her and Jared’s lies started this whole mess. Tess would have never come out and held them hostage and the real Chloe probably wouldn’t have died. Log in to Reply Luke Kerr January 30, 2009 It is Starr’s baby but the only person who knows it is Bess and maybe Tess. No one outside of Jessica’s head knows that it is Star’s baby. Log in to Reply EricasEvilTwin January 30, 2009 If Vicki is next in line, then when the baby is up all night, she should be the one to get up and change the dirty diaper. I just feel that Natalie is more angry at her sister for wanting her dead than she is concerned for her niece(s). That’s not to say that she’s not worried for them. I also think that she should be more understanding of her sisters feelings. When someone you love dies and some is directly or indirectly, however anyone wants to see it, responsible you’d probably wish that person dead whether they be a relative or not. I feel that Natalie is making this more about her. Not to say that your sister wanting you dead shouldn’t hurt. LOL! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pushing Daisies – You will always be in my heart! Log in to Reply THEBEST January 31, 2009 It doesn’t matter who is best to raise Chloe, because it’s Starr’s baby. But, Bree belongs with her mother. Natalie is such a self-righteous twit. ***///Pine Valley will be whistling Dixie soon…\\\*** Log in to Reply dellygrim January 31, 2009 “Natalie keeps dwelling on what Tess did. Tess, not Jessica tried to kill them….” *** I think she’s dwelling on it b/c Jess said that she wanted Tess to take control and kill Natalie and Jared. To me that’s akin to hiring a hitman. It’s dangerous criminal activity. I’m not sure why Nat’s hurt, anger and fear is being presented as ‘I want your kids as my own’. This show is generally so well written and tightly intertwined that I don’t always notice how plot driven it is. Log in to Reply liason4real January 31, 2009 I said Natalie. As Vicki stated last week, when Nat gets mad, she lets it out, unlike Jess, who lets her alters take over. Jess delibertely let Tess out to do her ‘dirty’ work, in getting rid of Nat and Jared. Nat made a comment that everyone always forgives Jess when she makes mistakes because it is one of her alters. Once Jess bond’s with Chloe, then the truth will come out and we’ll see a custody battle between, Cole, Starr, Marcie, etc…good drama, no one was shot in the head. Now that Nat knows Jess was trying to kill her, it will change the sister dynamic’s and more than likely, they will be at odds for some time to come… I expect the alters will come out once Jess realizes Chloe is not her child… Log in to Reply liason4real January 31, 2009 Of course, Jess will start bonding with Bree again, but, I wouldn’t leave her alone with either child, since she does not have all of her alters memories. Log in to Reply SusieQ January 31, 2009 Jessica should be raising her kids. Of course she needs some help right now but Natalie can take her self-righteousness and shove it up her butt! She and Jared are responsible for the events leading up to Nash’s death – they are why he died. Natlaie is not the frakking saint/vicitim she thinks she is. I was so hoping Jessica would slap her instead of just apologizing over and over. At the very least she should have brought up Nash. Natalie needs to get over herself. Log in to Reply marceline January 31, 2009 Just keep those kids away from the brain dead idiot with the big knockers. Oh wait, that describes both of them. Log in to Reply ABCJunky73 February 2, 2009 Right now Vicki should be rasing Bree & Chloe, until it comes out that Chloe is really Hope . Natilie has no claim to them and Vicki whould be the next of kin to raise the kids. I can understand that Natilie might fear for the kids because of how Jessica is still unstable, but it doesn’t give her the right to tell Jessica that she is not allowed to see her own kids. I say it’s more spite over what Jess let Tess do, than letting Jess near her girls. ABCJunky Log in to Reply leevo64 February 2, 2009 Honestly, Viki needs to step in and care for the children. She and Clint should have been doing that all along, but instead Viki went to Africa and Clint ran around trying to get BE back. The two of them need to realize that Jessica, Natalie and Jared are the most immature ‘adults’ in Llanview and intervene. Log in to Reply LIASONADDICT February 2, 2009 Natalie should go somewhere with her boring ass boyfriend It does look like it is going to be a good fight between the the sisters Log in to Reply sueboo54321 February 2, 2009 Clint and Vicki were not all that great as parents either. Natalie is overly self-righteous. She and Jared caused the death of Jess’ husband which buried Jess in grief in the first place. Tess would not have come out if that had not happened. Tess was caring for Bree for quite a long time and not any of these people noticed the glaring clues she was displaying. They need to hire a nanny and a live in babysitter for Jess. Natalie should stop getting in Jess’ face or she could upset her and have Tess in her face again. Log in to Reply EricasEvilTwin February 2, 2009 I get so frustrated every time I see people blaming Dorian, Natalie and Jared for Nash’s death. As someone who really likes all 5 characters involved, I honestly dont see it that way. Yes, Dorian stole BE and she shouldnt have gone after the company, but how do you think BE got so big – by going after other companies. Her behavior was really no different than Clint’s. Yes, Jared lied. To me thats probably the worst of the bunch. But he didnt do it to steal or to hurt, so for me its forgivable, esp. since he would have rightly qualified for the job he had with BE AS Jared BANKS had he not done time in jail, all thanks to Tess. Natalie found out and was in a terrible position. Her mother would be hurt, the man she loved would be hurt, Nigel was telling her that the revelation that David was the son would damage the company etc. etc. so she covered for a SHORT time in order to sort out what she should do next. It wasnt like she kept the secret from the jump. A mistake – yes, but not one that warranted the way her father, mother and uncle came down on HER. That leaves Nash. Why did Nash end up falling into the skylight. Well for starters, he gambled away part ownership in the vinyard. Then he got backing from a group without reading the terms of the contract. He took endless piles of cash from them, despite warnings from Jessica about expenses, thus putting him in a situation where he needed yet ANOTHER bail out. Jared agreed to help, Jared WANTED to help, with no idea that his deception would put BE in jeapordy. When Nash found out that Jared was no longer in a position to help, he went rage monkey and appeared close to the point of hitting Natalie. As much as Dorian, Natalie and Jared (and Nigel) need to accept responsibility for their actions, so does Nash. That he paid a steeper price for his mistakes at the hands of fate and coincidence, doesnt negate that he made mistakes. Vicki summed this up best when she placed the blame exactly where it should be – VICTOR LORD. No Nicki, no Tess. As for Nat, I dont think she is mad at Jessica, I just think she is acting out inappropriately because she doesnt know how to address the real problem. Her parents now admit that they totally mishandled and over reacted to the BE mess, but it doesnt change the fact that Clint basically disowned her and Bo, well he use to be more of a father to her than Clint and I havent seen them interact since the meltdown. Even Vicki jumped on the bandwagon. Now Jess employs Tess to KILL Natalie and she gets the sympathy. I think that is whats chafing nat’s ass. Basically Vicki and Clint said OH MY GOD, YOU TRIED TO KILL NAT, POOR JESSICA. I just dont think vicki and clint have ever bonded with Nat the way they are bonded to Jessica, so where does that leave nat. I can understand her being hurt. Log in to Reply Trudi February 8, 2009 I loathe Jessica just on principle. But I don’t want Natalie and Jared saddled with her kids. It would be better if Jessica and Natalie could work together, but since that’s not going to happen, I understand why Natalie doesn’t want the psycho anywhere near those children. And no Natalie is not being understanding about Jessica’s mental illness and she’s not taking the blame for it. She’s been there and done that, and it’s time for Teflon Jess’s Mess to stick to her for a change. Log in to Reply Kendra February 8, 2009 I am all for Natalie still being the care giver towards these children. Jessica/Tess/Bess are still not well and with a rumored Les alter coming out to me sounds like integration was not a success. Vicki has been no where around to be there, and a Nanny if she is a professional social worker in helping children cope with a violent parent should be there helping Bree with any interaction with Jessica. Afterall, Tess almost blew her up too, and she definately had a hand in the death of her child which no one even knows about yet, and she kidnapped another person child. Granted it was her cousins, but so what. Her alters can just run amock and do whatever and everyone should be okay with?? I don’t blamed Natalie one little bit. It really boggles my mind that most here are calling Natalie all these hateful names after whar Tess put her thru and yet she still cared for her children. Please don’t say that Natalie is responsible for Nash’s death. Did the fraud act as a catalyst of the events that unfolded, yes, but so did Nash’s irresponsible business practices by borrowing money from shady business people when he could have easily taken the cash from his wife in the first place and not have to rely on BE money which was ultimately his wife’s inheritence. Plus, Nigel and Dorian should be added into the mix as well. Plus, Nash started that fight and it was an acccident and believe me I hate Jared. In addition, if you really think about it this all starts with Tess. Her getting Jared thrown in jail and him coming to town for revenge and pulling this scam would never have happened if it was for her actions. So please I am sick of all this Natalie did this, Natalie said that. Natalie’s hateful stance started only after Jessica revealed that she forced Tess out to kill Natalie and Jared. To me, that is a mentally ill person controlling their alter to do her bidding and was very much premediated because she couldn’t deal with the situation. So I can see Natalie stepping bavk and questioning if she is real, or playing everyone still. Log in to Reply THEBEST February 2, 2009 I couldn’t have said it better myself. I always enjoyed Susie Q’s as a kid… Log in to Reply dyan0206 February 8, 2009 You know, I’m on the fence on this one. I think that Natalie should at least be guardian of the kids till Jess/Tess/Bess is assured to be completely over her DID. I think Natalie is doing this because she doesn’t trust Jess to take care of her children. Can you blame her? After all, it was “Jess” who told Natalie she “Jess” wanted her dead. It was Tess also who wanted Natalie dead, but a part of the integrated Jess also felt it too. I agree that Nat and Jared should pay for what they did to Nash and also for losing their family business, but giving the children back to Jessica is not the answer at this point and time. Maybe Viki should keep those children away from Jess for now till she is assured that Jess is fully integrated again.
