My New Year's resolutions is

5. Hoping and praying for a miracle and that Frons and Guza is fired.

4. Making some suggestion for the industry to save itself from extinction.

3. Not watching Days after Drake and Deidre leave so that Corday realize he is making a big mistake that will undo Days shelf life.

2. Just wishing that the budgets cuts don't make the soaps even more horrible than they are now.

1. Stilling speaking my mind about the states of soaps and hoping that the bloggers are very vocal and not quit.

Hoping the Logans' except for Brooke, leave LA, Sonny be infertile, and the industry is greating better.

My Resolutions

5. Get GL out of Peapack, NJ and into a decent studio. And pray that she fixes the production values.
4. Pay Rachel Melvin to mow down Molly Burnett
3. Start the "Ronn Moss Acting Classes" fund.
2. Make sure that Dena Higley and Ken Corday step, down from DOOL with some dignity and that Dena Higley is blackballed in the soap opera community.
1. CBS soaps (except Y&R) need to learn how to shoot a decent outdoor scene. (Seriously, did you see Y&R in France, it was fabulous! If soaps are going to have such poor production values at least have Paris Hilton in it.)

Daniella, I love your resolutions, especially number 4. I would love Chelsea to get behind the wheel and mow down Melanie or have her go against Stefano and make her disappear and to never hear from here again. I also agree with Jamey that Guza ruin Sonny for life and the only way to save him is to kill Sonny off and have a long break for MB and then he can come back with what Jason has or maybe another character.

Interesting show!

Okay my Soap NY Resolutions:
5) No more arguing over Sam/Liz

4) Be less critical/don't be so quick to rip things apart. Even I get tired of my b*tching and complaining all the time. Smile

3) Cut down on spoilers and fast forwarding through soaps. (this is my attempt at going back to my old-school ways of watching soaps - back when I used to enjoy them.)

2) Be a more "flexible" soap fan. Meaning I'm going to try and be more accepting of things that I don't like on my soaps. Getting all freaked out about stuff and becoming *too* invested in one character or couple just leads to disappointment, so I'm just gonna roll with the punches.

1) Keep watching the BEST soap on right now - EastEnders!! Smile

Bonus Resolution: With less arguing I should have some free writing time on my hands, so I'm going to use it in a more positive way. I'm going to start writing letters about two things I feel strongly about: the portrayal of women (and their "issues") on soaps and the lack of "diversity" on our shows. Writing to TPTB is probably a waste of time, but at least this is a more positive waste of time Laughing out loud
