The RUMOR is that the crisis involves a biotoxin hitting GH. That MAY be what Patrick is referring to when he says they couldn't contain it. Some say this storyline has been in the works for awhile and was pushed aside more than once.

As opposed to a good one? At least you relish in the fact that a SciFi movie is bad and can turn it into your own version of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and laugh at when it's mocked on The Soup. You watch General Hospital and it's no matter you haven't turned into one of the rage infected from 28 Days Later!

I hear Frons is bringing a family of little people mobsters to town. Carly will sleep with the don of the family Little Big Man during Sweeps, before an explosion blows his wife out of a window at GH. Luckily Sam McCall just happens to be outside, having been tied to a pole by a swarthy man of Morrocan (or Israeli, Pakistani, Swedish?) descent and she manages to catch the little lass!

The possibilities get me really excited but I know there is a good chance Guza can mess it up........but I try not to be cynical in life so my fingers are crossed....besides, the MC crisis two years ago was really good and to a lesser extent the B&W Ball....so there is some hope.....

This stunt mess is not going to help the show overall because it is the same bs over and over again and no long time consequences for the characters for years to come. Guza is getting too old for this and needs to retire, ASAp.

GHalltheway I am SO with you. I think this storyline has the potential to be really good and the promo got me revved up. Does that mean it will live up to the promise - who knows, but I will wait to actually see the storyline BEFORE I bash it

EET/GHaddict: Though the promo didn't interest me all that much, I've got hopes for this story, it could be good. I think a Big Event like this could be the jump start GH needs to get back on track, especially if what happens with this event leads to some good stories that go beyond just the next few weeks. See, I'm *trying* to be positive!

I have seen awesome promos for lame plots.
I have seen awesome promos for crappy plots.
I have seen lame promos for good story lines.

Now, I have seen an incredibly silly promo and will wait to see if the plot is as silly or if the promo people have just lost their marbles.

I don't know who is on that operating table but the promo makes it look like a creature has emerged from the body cavity.

I hope the plot is good but I wish they would stop with the event stories and just write some good stuff day to day. Is that really too much to ask?

I actually agree with you sueboo, that part of the promo did remind me of Alien when the the creature burst out of John Hurt's chest and Veronica Cartwright gets squirted w/ blood LOL

I'm sorry. Explosions and redo stories DO NOT MAKE UP FOR LOUSY WRITING.

I cannot get exited about this....ABC promos are always patched together and have no basis in what is really going on.

I am SO over GH. Guza needs to GO like yesterday. He has NO idea what a "soap" is really about.

Hmmm...I agree with you all. I'm expecting either a little baby Alien to come popping out (where's Ripley when you need her) or it's gonna be some Hazmat situation with toxic crap coming out of the body...which could explain why people are collapsing in the OR.

Personally, I like the Alien concept. It could maraud through the hospital corriders looking for something tasty to eat but settling instead for Sonny and Jason (and the script writers).

I predict another Jasam ratings bomb. The more they show those two, the more the ratings tank. Hmm..wonder what the deciding factor is? Is anyone even watching this show anymore? I've heard the Law & Order reruns are TNT are kicking a** right now Then we'll be forced to watch another 'tired couple' re-bond. LL2 is ALMOST as bad as Jasam. This show is a joke and the ratings prove it.
