Why is everyone on DC worried about sets that burn down, sets that change. Who the hell cares, they are sets people. Sets always change.

Oh forgot to mention, you guys forgot who Frons loves the most, Steve Burton. SB is the freaking everything and end all of GH, but yet you keep dissing Maurice Benard for it. Just because Jason and Liz aren't together doesn't mean Frons doesn't have a hard on for him, because he does.

I concern myself with historical sets burning when I know that is just another nail in the coffin of history. Now, if say Fusion were to burn down tomorrow, I would think nothing of it!!!
Now, in regards to Steve Burton, yes he is Frons' pet just as much as Maurice. Thing is, Steve never really "got" his Liason. Funny thing is, Maurice is not even getting what he wants anymore, he wanted Skate and he gets Clauson. Right now the biggest Frons pet looks to be Tony Geary getting his Ethan and Sarah Brown getting her Sonny. The faves change, but Maurice has been at the top of the list so long and is intrinsically tied to the mob that is eating GH that he becomes an easy target. Now, I won't speak for anyone else, but there is always a small part of me that wants to give Jason Morgan a bye because in my heart he will always be a Quartermaine.

I have NEVER claimed to be an expert about the Non ABC soaps. The only one who watches GL is Luke so it would be up to him .... but we all know how he is about names and faces.

ITA with the comments about Ricky Paull Goldin on AMC. Jake is literally a brand new man and I am loving him. Jake is a delight to watch Tad and the girls, but even moreso with Amanda. Jake and Amanda are a goldmine together. Let's hope tptb pull their collective heads out of their butts and take notice, Jake and Amanda are the best potential couple on the show.

Okay Tina, I see and understand how you feel about the historical sets and respect it. But, those historical sets replaced other historical sets that replaced older historical sets that replaced original sets.
Take GH for example. How many Quartermain mansions have we gone threw, I can remember five, three different looks for Kellys, Luke's is gone, so is the Outback. The Quartermain's hotel, which was replaced by the ugly as hell Metro Court, had what five different looks. To me, sets change, no big deal. I loved Sonny's penthouse, which was Sean and Tiffany's penthouse before him, that had a remodel. I missed it for like a week when Sonny left but I don't care now. Nobody stays in the same place where all the furniture is the same, wall color and so forth for twenty years. People remodel, paint and move. Why shouldn't soaps sets change to. I just don't see the big deal, it's like unnecessary worry.

Ric Hearst returning to GL as Alan-Michael. The canvas is SO RIPE for him to come back, I would love to see him going at it with Phillip--and Ric Hearst is WASTED on GH.
GH should be ashamed of itself for letting all of these fine actors go--Brian Frons should be let go for the lazy writing for this show
