Jamey has a secret. He's been cheating on Daytime Confidential. Lately, whenever he wants a hilarious, juicy, balls-to-the-walls podcast about the goings on in All My Children's fictional Pine Valley, he downloads an episode of the Pine Valley Podcast. On today's episode of Daytime Confidential, for the first time ever, Luke and Jamey sit down with the crazy, sexy Boricua pair behind PVP, Ashley Mendoza and Jordan Hudson!
Poor Luke has to hang on to his seat as Ashley and Jamey match each other, wacky soap character-voice-for-voice and Jamey bows down to soap's true historian Jordan, who actually recalls when Phil called Tara "funny face". But it isn't all fun and games. This foursome, all who adore All My Children, spend plenty of time discussing just what has happened to this once stellar show. They talk about it's rich history and debate whether or not current head writer Chuck Pratt is actually worse than Megan McTavish. We could tell you more, but we don't want to spoil the surprises! Hey guys, I'm new here and must say I LOVE your podcast. And I am sooo glad you did this interview! I've never been a regular viewer of AMC but I stumbled upon PVP a few months ago and absolutely love it. Thanks for merging two of the best soap podcasts for an ep.

Okay well here is a small update from me lol, it is not DC that is down its the podcast host that is down.
Other podcast i listen to that are hosted using the same service is down.

It's working now.
For those of you using iTunes I deleted the old file and republished, changing the name from DC Meets Pine Valley Podcast to Pine Valley Podcast Meets DC...if the new one does not appear in iTunes you may have to delete the non working ep, unsubscribe and then resubscribe.

There are server hosting issues going on. I was able to download it through itunes on my end, but in order to do it one has to unsubscribe from DC, delete it and the old files, go back into the store and resubscribe and then download it again. if that doesn't work, until the server issue is resolved (and I don't have any control of) you can stream it here at dc.com.

I'm so glad you guys decided to do this!! I've been listening to both podcasts for about 2 years now, (yeah I remember the old days with Lisa and her "bow chicka wow-ow" and when Jorpa seemed like another cast member of the show)..and I couldn't believe it when I saw the title of the latest podcast - Now if I can just get it to download, everything in my life will be perfect.
I cannot WAIT to hear Jamey with Jordan and Ashley!

Podcast guys was great. I need to listen to the PVP crew. IMO, Frons tried to copy Passions with the death of Dixie. When I say that I mean Passions was notorious for the campy storylines, that was there stick and that's what got them recognized in the main media and on shows like, The Best Week Ever. Now this isn't a slam against Passions, so Passions fans don't bug out. Even their own star, Tracey Ross said in an interview with SOD that the show is campy. That was its thing, no shame in that. Frons should've stuck with that AMC did best and not try to mimic another show's brand. He does that time and time again and look what happened:
Jake and Taylor on AMC--- BOMBED
Matt and Maxie on GH---- BOMBED
Stefan and Katherine on GH--- BOMED (well imo)
Jamey got his Church on I see.... FYI: McTrash was the worst EVER! Any heifer that brings someone back from the dead via freezing needs to have her WGA membership revoked!

McTrash was the worst: the unaborted fetus in the name of Josh, babies, babies, babies, Kendall/Ryan/Greenlee, The Babe and Krystal hour, newbies galore, getting rid of a great character, pimping Babe as a saint and raping poor, sweet Bianca, misogynistic agendas, and others why AMC is in a mess now and Pratt is ruining a good soap with plot instead of character driven s/ls and history.
