Thanks for posting our comments.....makes me feel less alone about all this. GL is family and CBS has put a knife in the back of it's own.....they can go to hell. Another network would be blessed to have the opprotunity to continue this drama on their network...please consider it if your reading this site.

He said he lived but she died, I was like WTF. I hope he was playing. Damn I did not realize so many men may be watching GL?

A heart-felt thanks to Daytimeconfidential for giving us fans an outlet to vent our frustrations and utter disgust with CBS and their decision to cancel the longest running television program, Guiding Light.

Now that we've gotten our hatred for CBS out of the way, I would LOVE for Daytimeconfidential to give us another podcast - a Positive podcast for US fans to discuss what each and every one of us are doing to Fight to Save the Light, and basically just a chance to be proactive about the situation now in a hope of letting our support be KNOWN to P&G on another outlet.

This podcast was great, and now I feel we are able to move on from CBS, and another podcast would be absolutely wonderful to show OUR SUPPORT!!

Oh pretty please...with sugar on top?...

I for one am not giving up on Guiding Light. I have written letters to CBS indicating I will not watch any of their shows in the fall and I will boycott advertisers on new shows. I wrote NBC to ask them to pick up Guiding Light and I wrote Proctor and Gamble saying I would not buy their products if they did not get it back on the air. Remember CBS brought back Jericho after a fan revolt. Let's deluge these people with mail. Fan clubs start writing letters and calling. I won't accept this. We will hit them where it hurts, in the pocket book!!!

Didn't SoapNet run old episodes of Ryans Hope and Another World? Wouldn't it be great if they would start doing that now with GL....perhaps it would help pick up some new GL fans.

I love REVA, JOSH, ALAN, PHILLIP,aunt ALEX (love her clothes),mostly the original characters.
DON'T LIKE THE GAY STORY LINE. stopped watching As The World Turns because of that!
Don't like the filming outside or the constant music. They need script and not all the facial looks and music. Limited sets.
don't think boycott products will work. I just turn to another NETWORK!!!!!!!!!
