Anyways i am downloading now but from the description all i can say is I am enjoying OLTL, but i have some issues with a few things.

Robin...poor Robin, i actually like the baby going down the stares stuff lol, and i know this isn't going to be covered but YAY MORE MATT SCENES!!!!

Why does Babe need a twin? Because David needs a child to love, and I personally would enjoy the hell out of David being the favored parent with Marissa, not Krystal! After watching them together today, she's definitely Daddy's girl! With CS leaving, I suspect Amanda will either disappear with the baby, or she'll be recast and Jake will be the father. In either case, David will have family with Marissa!

Got 7 minutes left, but i wanted to comment on the whole Babe twin thing, Isn't it at least better that she is somehow connected to someone on the show? I guess because of the way international soaps are written i am just used to people not being from 'core' families, but I wonder is that a bigger issue with soap fans? We just will not let go of the past and everyone HAS TO BE CONNECTED or else the writers don't know what they are doing lol.

Home and Away introduced a new family, the Austins, the way they did that was by making the first teenager come on as one of the shows semi established families The Holdens (They came end of 05) cousin, Jack died (Oldest Holden son) so the rest of the Austin family came, they were slowly introduced and used and now they are one of the reasons i enjoy the show so much, and that is in under 5 months.

So I wonder if its just that we soap fans love our history so much and we want to see it honored and instead of writing good stories for these new characters they just write crap so we hope that if Stacy was a recast for a Lord instead then maybe we would actually care when in reality we still would want her off our screen lol.

I'm actually shocked, seriously shocked that Claire Coffee/Nadine was that popular on GH. I just can't fathom it, my brain does not compute. Nadine, that buffoun. I never thought she was funny, just always over the top. Her quite scenes were the best. I guess it's just me, obviously, but I still don't understand. No disrespect to the actress, but really?

ITA ladyofthelake.....Nadine irritated the heck out of me.......Although I think that had more to do with her stupid ass storyline than the actress or even the character......I'm sure I would have loved her with someone else...*cough*MATT*cough*

ghaddict, your so right. Nadine would have been perfect for Matt, he's so useless on GH. If Nadine was around, he could of had something to do besides be a busy body and in everyone's business.

Jamey you are the man up in here, Metamucil commerical and I agree with you I live in NYC and I wouldn't waste $2.00 just to see a soap actor let alone $100.00.

As far as OLTL and your being apologist, I actually heard some excuse making up in that post, Jamey you called a spade a spade and I like that you call it like you see it. Yet I wish that someone would call out Ron on his writing without having to insist that Frons is holding his pen.

I'm confused - WHAT Cassadine story? Helena was here for two days, took a painting, and left. That's not a story, that's not even a fable. Do you honestly think that if your current punching bag Rebecca wasn't in the "story" it would have been better? The Cassadines just get in the way of watching Sonny become some sort of PLanned Parenthood volunteer telling women what they should do with their bodies because it would inconvenience him if they died.

Rebecca is god awful! i really miss Nadine. Her and Matt would be perfect!

Marty walking in TnT proved tarty are far from done.

I agree with you about Rebecca, a terrible character played by an actress who simply cannot pull off that type of character. Those scenes where she was arguing with Helena the first time that they had scenes together were brutal. She looked like a bobblehead doll. You can just tell that as an actor she is best suited as a good girl (Emily).

I doubt that Tarty is even going to be teased. The feedback from viewers who were furious over the storyline was so damaging to the show that they would not go their again. It was obvious from how they quickly shifted Marty out of Todds orbit and made her a John worshipper overnight that they are trying to make the audience forget about the rapemance.

Todd and Marty have basically had a couple of scenes in the last few months. I think you are reading to much into that courtroom scene. The storyline is basically a triangle with Blair/John/Marty. Todd and Tea are their own storyline from what I can tell. They may interact with the other ones but I dont think its a pentagon or watever you would call it. RJ would be good in the Todd/Tea story but hes only going to be around for a short period in time. I stand by my feeling that the problem with the show is:

3 main things 1) Everything Morasco 2) Everything John Mcbain 3) Too much with the teens and its not even Summer yet.

What I think the show needs to do:
1)Todd and Tea are fun and interesting together and the actors have amazing chemistry. Keep them in each others orbit.
2)We need more of Viki and Charlie
3)Keep A. Martinez on the show and keep him with Dorian.
4) Give Blair more to do than just sitting in the hospital and being a good little stepford Wife. She has become so pathetic. Give her some guts again and have her dump Johns passive-aggressive as* and have her go find out who her father is and have her stay away from men for awhile.
5)Give Jared and Natalie a storyline outside of "the secret."
6) Reveal who Rexs' father is pronto.
7) Make John a more supporting character or kill him off.
Have Todd grow up a little bit instead of regressing the character to make John look better. Repairing Todd/ Starr relationship would be a good start.
9)Move forward with CLint/Nora/Bo triangle and have Clint lose out and revert back to his Asa ways like he started to do last year. Bring Lindsay back and pair her with Clint.
10) Bring B.E. to the front burner once again. Kill Stacy and end the Balsco relationship. Their okay together but everytime they have a frontburner storyline the show begins to suck again.
There is more things that can be done but this would be good for now.

I heard you loud and clear Jamey. My All My Children viewing is back to what it was before Chucky Doll Pratt’s arrival, which is two episodes a week, and that’s when I think Susan Lucci will be on. Even when watching it, I tend to fast forward through most scenes without her. Susan and AMC will be celebrating their 40th anniversary next January. As of now, I’ve been watching for 36 of its 39 years on the air. If Susan decides to call it a day after 40 years and decides not to re-sign, in addition to David Canary’s appearances being cut back, then I say stick a fork in Pine Valley and let’s just remember the great history of this once fine daytime drama. Unless a miracle occurs and Brian Frons is replaced with someone who truly understands and cares about this medium, I’ve already accepted the apparently inevitable conclusion that AMC is seeing its last days.

But it gave RC and Brian what they wanted VIEWERS AND CONTROVERSY! They would go back there in a heartbeat. Plus tarty had their fans SH even admitted it.

I think somebody said this in the podcast and I agree - AMC would be unwatchable & unsurvivable without Adam & Erica.
