Will General Hospital Viewers Follow Rick Hearst to The Bold and the Beautiful?

Something tells me ABC Daytime head honcho Brian Frons will come to seriously regret betting on the wrong horses in terms of whom he values on his flagship soap opera General Hospital. Where is the logic in favoring leading men like Tony Geary and Maurice Benard, who have been tweeting in their scenes for the better part of half a decade, as opposed to a stellar, multi-soap fan favorite like Rick Hearst? At any rate, I know a lot of Hearst fans have been more than ticked over Ric Lansing’s lackey status in Port Charles, so it has me wondering, will you guys follow him to The Bold and the Beautiful?

to be honest, i have secretly been hoping whip would return ever since he left. this was my first exposure to rick hearst and i thought his chemistry with klk was fantastic! i can only hope for some type of triangle with brooke/whip/felicia – actually i hope for anything for winsor and lesli!

I stopped watching GH late last year and started watching Y&R after hearing Luke/Jamey rave about it on the CBS/Days podcast all the time. Since B&B/Y&R are interconnected I could see making the jump and adding B&B to the mix now that Rick Hearst will be on. I certainly don’t forsee going back to GH.

No. As much as I like RH, I won’t be following him to B&B. I use to watch that show years ago and know what’s going on somewhat because I read and listen to everything DC, see some clips here and there, but I won’t start watching. I have no desire to, honestly. As much as DC raves about Y&R, I still didn’t and don’t want to watch. I’m gonna stick to the soaps I watch now. It’s just the way I am. I do wish RH the best of luck. I knew he wouldn’t be out of work for long. You know, if any of the actors left GH (which is my main soap and one I’ll never give up) to do another soap that I don’t watch, I wouldn’t watch those soaps either, no matter how much I liked the actor.
