Ruh roh. Somebody better hide Ellen Wheeler from the Cyrina fans. Instead of a reunion between Cyrus and Marina (Mandy Bruno), Murray Bartlett is teasing SOAPnet's David Ozanich about some upcoming chemistry testing with Mel (Yvonna Wright)!

Well, there's some stuff coming up with Cyrus and Buzz which I think is quite lovely. I love the way they're going to tie up the story but they've asked me not to spoil the surprise. There's some stuff coming up that's been shot but hasn't been to air between Cyrus and Mel - they've been flirting a little bit.
Sounds hot to me! Somebody better tell Cyrus, chocolate melts in your mouth, not in your hands!

Hmm, this throws an even more interesting one to me out there: who will Rick Bauer be with at the end of the show? They teased it a little the other day with him and Matt at towers. If he is not going to be with Mel, could it be a Rick/Mindy reunion for the finale?

Anything that gets the lovely Yvonne more screen time would be great. Althought I was hoping for Mel and Rick reunion, Poor Rick the loneliest doctor at Cedars even Lillian gets to have a romance with Buzz.

Saw this and didn't freak out. I mean the show is possibly ending and Cyrus and Mel are together. Really? Yeah I don't think so. So what, Cyrus flirts with Mel? Cyrus flirts with everyone. Mel is a recurring character, Cyrus is a regular character. I can't count on my hand how many times we see Mel a month. I'm not real worried about my Cyrina reunion. After all, that very well could be the big surprise he is talking about. And if for some reason it isn't, Ellen Wheeler I will come after you like there is NO tomorrow!

Mel's right, this is nothing. Cyrus has flirted with practically every woman in town except Reva and that was only because the few times they met, she wanted him and his brother dead, so flirting wouldn't have gotten him anywhere. He's flirted with Alex, Beth, Christina, Lizzie, and Lillian and never had a real relationship with any of them and I might be forgetting a few women in there too.
Cyrus is looking for the stolen diamonds. He knows that Remy has them. Mel is Remy's sister and lawyer. You do the math. He's looking for info.
I personally don't expect a Cyrina reunion simply because I know what an incompetent moron Ellen Wheeler is and that if it would make even a few viewers happy, she'll never do it. But it's far more likely than a completely out-of-left-field relationship between the town thief and the town's most proper, uptight lawyer/doctor/superwoman. It could've been a good story if they had time to develop a connection between characters who are so different but they simply don't. Given that there's barely three months left they should just reunite Cyrus with Marina and Mel with Rick. They were both great couples before Harley and Beth came along and destroyed them for nothing.
