Ashley Jones On True Blood Character: "There's A Lot More To Her Than You Think"

More is coming out about Ashley Jones and her role in the second season of HBO's True Blood. In an interview with SciFi Wire Jones is asked about how her character Daphne will develop and she hints at twists and turns. However, in an interview with Sara Bibel at Fancast, Jones is asked about a secret of Daphne's that has been leaked. Possible Ashley Jones True Blood spoilers after the jump. Read at your own risk.

How will Daphne develop over the course of her episodes?

Jones: She definitely has an agenda. I've had to sign confidentiality agreements, but there's a lot more to her than you think. There are so many things I want to say. The twists and turns are fascinating, and they were hard to follow and keep up with, because they're so drastic and riveting. I learned about the character slowly, because I'm not sure I would have been able to grasp all of it at one time. She's very complex.

I’ve read that Daphne has a secret and a clue can be found on her skin.

I don’t know how that got leaked, but she does have a secret and it gets revealed a bit every episode. She ends up being a really huge part this year, especially with Sam Trammell’s storyline. There is a little something that if you’re really attentive you might be able to figure out early on, but I’m certainly not going to reveal it. But it doesn’t have much to do with who she is, especially in the first episode.
