Crystal Chappell isn't the only Days of Our Lives casting news today. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Rachel Kimsey (ex-Mac - The Young and the Restless) has been cast as a character with a past connection to Sami's (Alison Sweeney) love interest Rafe (Galen Gering).

Soooooooooooooooooooo instead of returning to Y&R and giving me someone watchable in the role of Mac she is going to DAYS to be Rafe's little something something? :(

Oh well congrats to her! I may actually tune back in.....maybe.....

I loved Rachel as Mac and I am glad that she is back on Daytime.

This was the Mac who got knocked up by JT. She wasn't necessarily "bad" but she wasn't especially good. Think of really, really craving a white chocolate cappucino, and filling it, and then halfway through, it runs out and fills your cup with water. Sad

Rachel is playing meredith on Days and first airs July 17th. wonder if she's a doctor lol

also Nick Stabile (ex Sube, ex-Passions) first airs June 25th but no name was given for his role

Ashley Bashiom is in Med school or something right???

This is the Mac that became good friends with Kevin.

I don't know if I want her at Days, but who knows shes hasn't been in daytime in 3 or 4 years so hopefully she took some classes and polished up a bit.
