HomeTVAll My ChildrenJosh Duhamel Speaks On Perez Hilton and Will.i.Am Incident Luke Kerr June 23, 2009 All My Children 27 Comments ET Online caught Josh Duhamel on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen red carpet and asked him about the incident between celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.Am. Josh’s response: "When you get rich saying hateful things sometimes you ask for it," Duhamel says."It’s an unfortunate incident and I hope it goes away." The incident in question centers around Perez Hilton accusing Will.i.Am of punching him in the face at a MuchMusic Video Awards after party. Hilton even released an image of himself with the injury beneath his eye. Will.i.Am has responded (see clip after the jump) with a video blog explaining he was trying to defend his band mate Fergie–Josh’s wife–after she spoke with Hilton about his less than favorable coverage. Will.i.Am claims a fan punched Hilton, not a member of his entourage. TMZ has a video clip of the incident on its website. 27 Responses Homepage July 26, 2014 … [Trackback] [...] Find More Informations here: daytimeconfidential.com/2009/06/23/josh-duhamel-speaks-on-perez-hilton-and-william-incident/ [...] Log in to Reply troymcclure June 23, 2009 I have to agree with hottie Josh! I’m surprised someone hasn’t clocked Perez earlier. I used to enjoy Perez’ blog but now he is just hateful and his reports are filled with lies. Perez come back to earth, you aren’t all that, sweetie. Log in to Reply david46208 June 23, 2009 I see a murder mystery coming on As The Red Carpet Turns. Who shot Perez? Was it: Will-i-Am, Fergie, Beyonce, Zac Efron, Mariah Carey…the list goes on…and everyone claims to be the guilty party. Log in to Reply minipitbull007 June 23, 2009 Power to the Fans Perez got what he deserved he’s always rude to everyone. Log in to Reply soapjunkie88 June 23, 2009 I really think it wasn’t the right thing to punch him, but come on … it’s Perez Hilton. He talks about how bad violence is and that it’s never the answer. Perez faced physical violence … after he makes a living out of psychological violence on other people for years now. Maybe that should tell him something. But after people like John Mayer try to talk to him in this direction, I really do believe this guy lives in his own world, can use the F-word and ruin other people’s life and careers and he still thinks that he is the biggest victim in all of that. He is such a hypocrite. Log in to Reply Jammylove June 23, 2009 ugh! Has anyone been following John Mayers response to this too funny! twitter.com/johncmayer i love how Perez said “well you are FAG will i am!” isnt that hypocritical of him talking about gay rights just to use it against someone!? Log in to Reply EricasEvilTwin June 23, 2009 I agree with Josh. Violence isnt the answer, but when you run your mouth the way Perez does, you have to know someone eventually is going to clock you. Log in to Reply Regan Cellura June 23, 2009 It was bound to happen at some point… thankfully for me a few certain soap stars don’t vacation in Ohio. Log in to Reply daisyclover1938 June 23, 2009 I can completely understand the impulse to punch a jerk in the face (especially if that person has talked sh*t about you). However, it’s completely unacceptable. I can’t help identifying with Perez to a certain degree. I’ve trashed Molly Burnett lots of times, but I don’t think I deserve for her or one of her fans to punch me!!! LOL Log in to Reply goyankees June 23, 2009 I still love ‘My’ Perez..I’m not a Pea’s fan and don’t really intend on becoming one ESP now… While I have a LOT of respect for J.D. for having the brains to get out of Train Wreck Valley when he did, I hope his wife’s bandmates think about what they did. You don’t hit! God, I sound like I’m scolding a kid. tee! Log in to Reply Jamey Giddens June 23, 2009 Hmm, maybe I shouldn’t go to the daytime emmys… Log in to Reply pecola June 23, 2009 I know if I was assaulted, the first thing I’d do is tweet about it. (/sarcasm) Log in to Reply EricasEvilTwin June 23, 2009 Seems to me we dont know who threw the punch for certain. I just get the sense that Perez saw his chance for headlines and took it. Log in to Reply TV Gord June 23, 2009 Hitting is wrong. It’s bad. There has to be another solution than to hit. Having said all that, I’m glad it happened to Perez. Log in to Reply pspencer618 June 24, 2009 I just cannot believe how many fans this man has. His website is hateful! Why do people like this nonsense? At first he accused Will.i.am of hitting him (when according to the video Perez is following behind Will). Then he says that it is the manager but Will is behind it. Who tweets to call the police when it is much simpler to dial 911? Someone obviously looking for attention. So now that Perez has said the 2nd F word, is it alright for everyone to use it? I hope not! What a douche. And please do not equate NOT liking Perez with being against the gay community. His behavior and attitude is a rarity, not the norm. Log in to Reply lene91 June 24, 2009 Perez who calls 16 year old Miley Cyrus a slut, and Adam’ Sandler’s kid ugly, does not deserve to be punched? Justice was served! Log in to Reply Simple C June 24, 2009 Damn. I was hoping he got effed up. That little scratch under his eye is NOTHING. lol Log in to Reply TV Gord June 24, 2009 I’m now picturing that scene from the movie, Airplane, where people are lined up to bitch-slap one of the characters. LOL! Whoever attacked Hilton may have opened up a can of whoopass worms that may not ever be sealed again! Suddenly, I can’t wait to see Hilton out on the nightlife scene again! Log in to Reply siomonstuart2003 June 24, 2009 Carrie Prejean is probably laughing at him for his just desserts and it wasn’t about her. He is a jacka#$ and he deserves what he got and Wil.I.Am didn’t punch him, a fan did and he should be careful who he talks about because people don’t play. Do he talk smack about 50 cents? Dr. Dre? Suge Knight? TI? No, he knows better not to mess with them. Log in to Reply season1217 June 24, 2009 I can’t help identifying with Perez to a certain degree. I’ve trashed Molly Burnett lots of times, but I don’t think I deserve for her or one of her fans to punch me!!! LOL ROTFL! Log in to Reply sb_fan June 24, 2009 I’m just surprised someone hadn’t punched him earlier. Log in to Reply TV Gord June 24, 2009 How about a REAL (non-claymation) Celebrity Deathmatch between Perez and Speidi? Log in to Reply glennf June 24, 2009 “When you get rich saying hateful things sometimes you ask for it,” Duhamel says.”It’s an unfortunate incident and I hope it goes away.” I’ll bet Duhamel hopes it goes away. It’s not very good publicity when your wife is involved in a situation of someone being physically assaulted. And it doesn’t help when Duhamel himself publicly makes an excuse for that illegal physical assault. Personally, I can’t stand Hilton’s idiotic blog, but violence is against the law and not the answer. Log in to Reply siomonstuart2003 June 24, 2009 The fan it Perez, not BEP manager and this will not hurt them on bit. Log in to Reply lel June 25, 2009 Violence is wrong and if you do the crime, you have to do the time, but Perez definitely had bad karma coming his way. His blog is way too egotistical and self-promoting to be enjoyable. Personally, I prefer Dlisted. He doesn’t take himself seriously and he’s clever and funny with his social commentary. Perez is just nasty and hurtful. Log in to Reply pspencer618 June 24, 2009 Jamey, You are no Perez Hilton, and I mean that in a good way. Log in to Reply JLyn23 June 24, 2009 I agree wholeheartedly. Can’t say I feel bad for Perez. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
