First Impressions: Deacon Sharpe Arrives in Genoa City

Deacon has arrived!

I'm really interested in why he would come back into Amber's life and try to sabotage it anyhow. They left on good terms back in the day.

Anyway, great to have Sean Kanan back on my screen. Hopefully he stays there for a long time.

Oh does anybody remember what happened to little Eric? Only remember the custody fight between Deacon & Mary vs. Rick & Amber. After that I lost sight of the little boy.

Yes! I cannot wait to see this episode Deacon is back! It looks great.

I thought CJ had custody of that little boy. He was married to the mother when she died right?

Good Lord, he looks smoking hot!!! I might just have to start watch the Deacon scenes on Y&R.

I hope they don't hook him up with Amber, yuck, I don't want to see that.

Sean looks good so yay for him being back on the soaps. I hope that they either put him back w/Amber and stop w/her and Daniel, and w/doing that find something else for those four to do, or hook him up w/one of the older women like Phyllis, Lauren, or Nikki. Don't waste him Y&R!

There was some bad blood between them for a while, since Amber kidnapped little Eric/little D after Deacon and Macy won custody of him. Deacon refused to let Amber see little D and that cost her her marriage to Rick. Things warmed up a little between them after Macy died, but he still didn't completely trust Amber because of what she did. Both of their lives went downhill after that (Deacon in his involvement with Jackie, Amber because of her plot against Ridge that nearly killed him and Bridget). Maybe Deacon thinks things would have been better for both of them if Amber had just married him like he wanted (just before he married Bridget)?

Deacon had the kid staying with his grandparents (Becky's parents) while he was living with Jackie, and then Deacon went into rehab. B&B said he was in Vegas 2 years ago, but there was no mention of little Eric, so presumbaly the kid is still with his grandparents until Y&R tells us otherwise.

I don't think Deacon was behind Sabrina's murder. I am glad he is on Y&R but he was never this nefarious. I can't believe he killed that fake FBI agent. I hope they pair him with Phyllis. I think they would be an explosive couple. If they don't pair him with Phyllis how about Sharon? That would drive Nick crazy!

Well that is true. Deacon was never that bad. But has he changed? He is involved in the art scam and is definitely the one who wants to frame Daniel. There has been a murder and Deacon was never a nice person from day one on B&B. It is not that far fetched to think Deacon could have ordered a hit on Sabrina.

I have first dibbs on Deacon and Phyllis, LOL. Hey would smoke the screen and Phyllis would be saying, "Nick Who?" LOL. I don't want Phyllis to go back to tool after what he did to her.

He is a bad boy, but Deacon isn't a killer. Specially not back with this Sabrina mess. That was the organization around David Chow and Y&R put that to rest.
And with framing Daniel ... I don't know for how long they want to keep Kanan ... so don't really know what's coming there.

That's an affirmative, but we hear it's a short term, "let's see how it goes" deal. If the fans like him in GC, he could stick around. Now, of course Soaps.com will go and say "Nuh UH, Sean's dog walker tells us EXCLUSIVELY he signed a TEN YEAR pact and gets to re-record Nadia's Theme!"

I am so glad to see Deacon back on the screen. When I first heard he was headed to GC (thanks Jamey!) I was surprised Brad Bell agreed to let the character go there. Deacon could shake some things up in LA with Brooke and Jackie. I guess because he isn't a Forrestor or Logan he just wasn't interested in it. His mistake is Y&R's gain. I feel like Deacons return doesn't have everything to do with Amber. I still think somehow Plum/Carson will be connected to Deacon somehow. This s/l just got really interesting and can't wait to see how it plays out. Like many have said a Phyllis/Deacon pairing would be amazing and it would be interesting to see daniel/ambers reaction to it. I also could see Deacon with Jill. So a big thank you to Brad Bell for allowing both characters Amber and Deacon to cross over.
