ABC is in a different boat than CBS because ABC owns the soaps unlike CBS that have to pay the Bells and P&G to air the soaps. And GH have 3 million dollars to get HD and to redesign the show and they can’t come up with money for Robin Strasser? Something is fishy there and I don’t blame Robin for getting mad when she already take a pay cut. We got characters on OLTL that no one cares about and they needs to go like Stacy, Rex, Gigi, Shane, Moe, Noelle, Marco parents, John, and Cole to keep Dorian. We want our Dorian Cramer on OLTL. Log in to Reply lilyredd July 14, 2009 Thank you for another entertaining podcast! I, too, want OLTL to do right by Robin Strasser. As a woman in my thirties, I see the subtle shades of sexism rearing its ugly head in the workplace on occasion; what I see in daytime decisions is blatant and egregious examples of sexism. It is more often than not a beloved actress is being squeezed at contract time. This is unacceptable. I have been watching Robin Strasser’s Dorian since the ’80s and she has never failed to entertain. Anyone who has had the pleasure to watch her through the years cherish memories like–Herb and Dorian’s elevator sex, her stint in jail for “murdering” Mitch Laurence, her trials and tribulations with Cassie and the other “Cramer women”, her red-hot affair with Joe, Mel Hayes falling drunk on top of her and later her marriage to Mel, and, of course, the delicious relationship with David Vickers. Of course, what can be said about OLTL’s only super couple- Viki and Dorian. Respect your audience! We want Robin Strasser as Dorian. I’m kinda thinking Frons might be as sexist as myself and wants to pair Daniel Cosgrove with a younger actress. Heck, I’m counting on you Fronsie, don’t pair one of the hottest leading men in daytime with Dorian!!! No offense to Strasser who is a lovely woman but Daniel Cosgrove and Strasser??? No thank you!!! Log in to Reply Courtney fan4life July 14, 2009 OLTL is the new 90210. OLTL is all about Cole and Starr. And for some reason despite it failing the first time he wants to push John and Marty AGAIN! And does RC and Fronz not know that we HATE JOHN MCBAIN! And also JB who plays Jared is lucky he plays golf cause he would have been out the show by now. Jared is a bore. Drop him. Screw Stuart WHO KILLED DIXIE!! That was brought up and dropped so fast. Log in to Reply cubsgirl July 14, 2009 Just watching last Friday’s OLTL. HOLY COW! Rex and Schyler could be brothers! Look at the differences in the way Genie Francis and Tony Geary have treated by TPTB at their show. Log in to Reply keanna July 14, 2009 Great podcast as always guys, I think it would great if Rex and Schyler were brothers, that would be a hoot. I hope that they do right where Ms. Strasser is concerned. I think that Daniel Cosgrove would be great as Joey. I am glad that I am not the only about this guy playing Dante being way too old. If they think that JaSam being back together will bring in ratings they are crazy. I don’t mind the Annie/Adam pairing, love Jake/Amanda, I would like Liza with David or Tad, I don’t like the potential Tad/Taylor pairing, I think that they are just trying to make the Taylor character relevant, and it just isn’t going to work. I also agree with you Luke, Marcy Rylan would be a great Colby, it is better than who they have now. Unfortunately I agree with you, Jamey where Randi is concerned. I don’t like the upcoming Erica/Ryan pairing it seems very Jerry Springer like. I hope you feel better Regan, come back soon. Log in to Reply arielade July 14, 2009 Good luck Regan! I wish you a speedy return from whatever is pulling you away. Cheers! Log in to Reply appleridge July 14, 2009 Awesome Podcast everyone. You will laugh your ass off…hahahaha GO DIEGO GO Log in to Reply ladyofthelake July 14, 2009 I hate OLTL, mainly beacuse of Star and Cole, they eat that show alive. That said, I do love Robin Strasser and Dorian. But the character of Dorian has left Lanview many times before and the show has kept on trucking. I still recall all the hoopla over her last exit, they were to busy bending over to Roger H. to care. She said so and they fired her, and Frons wasn’t even hired yet. Making Dorian run over Jessica and killing her baby, oops. That said it would still be a loss to the show. But hey ratings are up, Frons must be thinking that Stacy character is wining people over. Not. I agree Dante is way to old looking to play anyone’s kid. I was never a Sonny/Kate fan, well I could care less either way, but I’d rather see them together than Olivia. I love Sonny, but he didn’t need another kid. Especialy since MB is working so well together with the aged kids now. I love Stuart Damon, the only Quartermaine I loved but I won’t follow him to ATWT. I love Julie Pinson and Jon Lindstrom and I still don’t watch. I’ve watched GH for twenty years, I loved Kevin and Alan, but I still won’t watch. No ofense to ATWT fans, I don’t have anything against the show. Daniel C. was great as Scott Chandler on All My Kids, loved to see him back there or as Joey. Daniel C. has been good in everything from daytime to primetime. Poor guy had to work with Jenie Garth, guy deserves a medal.
