Tragedy On GL
By Luke Kerr on July 20, 2009
Is Jeffrey's (Bradley Cole) death a tragic byproduct of Edmund Winslow's (David Andrew MacDonald) murder? Ashlee (Caitlin Van Zandt) seems to think so. Personally I don't think it is a tragedy at all.

Jeffrey's death should be celebrated. One less worthless character on the show. Too bad I had to wait until the end for it.
Now of course, knowing Ellen Wheeler, I wouldn't put it past her that Jeffrey's not really dead and he'll show up alive on the last show.

I couldn't really care less about St. Jeffrey, the only thing bothering me is Olivia toasting the memory of her rapist and declaring him a (get out your GL dialog bingo card!) good man. Gag me. I know he's her daughters Father and they developed a good rapport through her illness and such, and there is of course that godawful attempt at retconning the event, but seriously. I HATE it. Being upset on behalf of her daughter is fine and makes sense, especially considering the sh!t storm raining down on her right now, but don't go that far.

The only tragedy about Jeffrey's death is all the offensive and disgusting rapist-worship that we have to sit through. It's bad enough that Reva, once a strong and fierce woman, is now reduced to blubbering like a child over the death of her own sister's rapist but we now also have to see Olivia canonize the bastard as some saint after what he did to her! That is not Olivia Spencer. The Real Olivia Spencer would've killed that SOB the millisecond she discovered that he was the man who ruined her life, not whining about "this great man". Barf.
It's all the more angering because I just know in my bones that he isn't even really dead. Wheeler is way too obsessed with him to kill him off for real even with the show ending.

I'm sure his death is tragic to the viewers Ellen Wheeler makes this show for.
I thought I tune in today and see what's going on (not sure this will be a daily occurance). Just one thing that liked that seems like should be part of the fabric of the show is Josh and Olivia should be on and off lovers. The actors seemingly can't help playing seductive with each other everytime they are on screen. It doesn't have to emotional, but as Jamey would say "escapist". Everyone needs loving and love can save the world. After rolling in the sheets, Olivia could go back to finding Natalia and Josh can go to Reva. Just a thought...

Edmund should be given a key to the city for killing Jeffrey!

The only tragedy is how much friggin' airtime that is wasted in having to watch the entire town mourn this pointless and boring character.
Good grief, they even had Phillip and Alan toasting and remebering him!!!!
How much screentime was spent on Ross' death??? Yeah, that's what I thought.

They should have a party, LOL. Yeah, we are over it. Move on. Josh and Reva needs to get back together and Jeffrey needs not to existed anymore.

I'm going to miss Caitlin Van Zandt. She's a trooper.
I hope she finds another gig soon.
