According to the magazine's website, the show is looking for someone to play a Caucasian female in her early 30's, brunette, powerhouse who has been already established on the canvas.

Aren't they always looking for that?!

OMG! Someone say this isn't true?????? Did the casting call actually say "Sam McCall" or did it just describe someone that sounded like her????????

Who knows? According to that description, it could BRENDA!

I care little for Sam or Kelly Monaco but isn't it Sarah Brown who has expressed displeasure? Doesn't that make more sense? Soap Opera Digest only ever reports what we already know. They are like the weather man who breaks into the soaps to point out it is snowing (Duh!!) Wouldn't Claudia also be described as 30's and already established on the canvas?

How do we know it's not a new Claudia they are looking for? The description "Caucasian female in her early 30's, brunette, powerhouse who has been already established", especially the "powerhouse" part, leads me to believe that it could be a potential new Claudia. Isn't Sarah Brown reportedly unhappy with the writing of her character? And her contract is up in January? Would producers start looking for a replacement this early?

Didnt Kelly Monaco recently resign for a few more years? She hasnt given any indication that she has been unhappy with the show recently, huh?

A GH insider told us several weeks ago that KeMo would be gone soon and that Liason was back on the table. We were told it was not a coincidence that you're seeing Liz/Jason small interactions starting with the Jason/Liz/Patrick scene back in April... Of course, with all insiders we had to take it with a huge GOS... Well, he/she was right...let's see if Liason stuff plays out on screen...

I ask myself that same question every freaking day. This better not be happening. I'm gonna have a serious panic attack.

Well for us KeMO fans that sucks, especially since it looked like JaSam may return. I'd love to hear the behind the scenes scoop on that one. Oh well, now there's only one brunette haired lady I love on that show. Hate to see her go but it'll be interesting if it ever comes out what happened and interesting to see who they'll get to replace her.

I would like to pose a question to you guys...when you like one soap less, does it effect your overall feelings towards the genre? I guess I am just a bit out of sorts at the idea of losing JaSam AND Zendall all in the same time span. With the writing the way it is, depending on who sticks with AMC, I could see myself dropping that show altogether - I have zero interesting in watching an hour of Tad and Taylor (esp. after her ripping on the actor that plays Brot) and a rehashed Rylee.

And the idea of dropping AMC - if I can drop that, could I see myself dropping a Morasco and rapemance dominated OLTL and a GH without Tamara Braun, KeMo, and possibly SJB? I cant believe I am about to say this but MAYBE. If Robin Strasser hadnt re-signed with OLTL I would have had to answer that LEANING YES.

UGGH can you tell my mind is skitzzing. LOL

Someone at another place also suggested that it could be a negotiating tactic as other soaps have put out similar calls when big stars were in negotiations. It also could be a temporary recast.

Wow...this really blows monkey chunks, if true. Ive been a KM since the Port Charles days, and was so glad to see her come on GH. While Im glad that this MAY mean Rebecca Herbst isnt out (hopefully), now we might lose KM?

If KM leaves, I dont see any need for the character of Sam to conintue on...

And did't she sign on before she did the all Vegas show .???
I thought it was to let her do the show while she she was working on Gh ????

I really don't know if I could continue to watch GH if Kelly leaves....I highly doubt that I would.....what reason would I have?????? How can they recast the character in the middle of a Jasam reunion?????

I just felt my world come crashing down around me... I just got my JASAM back and now they want to take MY SAM from me.... That is absoluty horrible... I think that I would have to abandon my soaps if she is taken away...
