Congratulations, Elizabeth!

(Please cue a chorus of O Fortuna!)

The Legion of Doom, in conjunction with the Galactic Empire, has another recruit ready to be molded and bent to nefarious ends!

Sincerely,

Darth Palin,
Sith Lord

discodan,

Who didn't congratulate Grand Moff Hasselbeck? I think every one congratulated her and one person asked another about the name.

I disagree with her political views but I think she is a good mom, and am happy for anyone who delivers a healthy baby. May she take a long maternity leave and decide to stay home with all three.

ChiTownFan,

I agree. A nice lonnnnngggggg leave of absence on the Death Star III, in galaxy far far far away, beside her liege Darth Palin, sounds good to me!

I disagree with her most of the time and I agree with her sometimes, but I like her. I sincerely do. I think she gets a bad rap, but I'm glad to hear her "Views" on a show that is sadly lacking in the sort of conflict needed to keep a good converation going.

The people on the left who dismiss her no matter what she says are as bad as Limbaugh and O'Reilly and the other morons who pass for conservative thinking in this lowest common denominator society. I like the way she and Joy spar with each other, especially when they both LISTEN to each other before speaking. And yes, that DOES happen from time to time.

I hope while Elisabeth is away, they find some substitutes who can represent the right adequately. I hate a one-sided fight, even when the deck is stacked in favor of the side I prefer. I love a challenge, and I wonder whether the show will be able to keep the challenge up while she's on maternity leave.

And to all you Elisabeth haters, you should be sorry you haven't picked up our Canadian health care system! We get a full YEAR of maternity leave! ;-D

Oh my god, what if Bill Geddes were to tap Sarah Palin to fill in for Elizabeth? I like Elizabeth better than Sarah, she's smarter and has seems to have no ambition for public office.

ChiTown,

Wow! Darth Palin, an actual Sith Lord, co-hosting the View?? Call the Rebel Alliance! We need General Akbar! Han! Chewie! Leia! Luke!

Sadly, once I read as far as, "Oh my god, what if Bill Geddes were to tap Sarah Palin", I went blind, so I don't know what the rest of that entry was.

Thankfully, I read Jamey's comment first...THAT was hilarious!!! Laughing out loud

And who cares if her baby is now in this world? I feel sorry for any child of hers that has to learn her extremist right wing views. And quite frankly, this is a soap opera site, not a daytime talk show site. It doesn't belong on here!

Pretty limited in your thinking, aren't you matealestlmo, both in your view on the topic and in your narrow parameters of what this site should be. The site is called Daytime Confidential. She works in daytime. This is news (and incidentally, news you clicked on and commented on, so it is obviously something you are interested in).

Matealestimo, Daytime Confidential covers any programming that happens in the television daypart. Soaps are the majority of what we cover, but we have covered The View and other talks shows from the beginning.
