How AWESOME were Doug Davidson and Stacy Haiduk today?? They gave me CHILLS and I can't wait until Monday!!

Now that's how somebody should react when they find out that their sibling had plastic surgery, became a different person, and has been wreaking havoc on the people he loves!!!

Paul's reaction was so classic Y&R. Doug Davidson was AMAZING! He reminded me of the plays that I would read in HS and how I always imagined the reveals to be. That utter shock, disbelief and horror. Stacy blew me away as well. You could tell how much MJ/Patty loves her brother and needs him, I've never seen her emote so much in regards to Jack. The scene was chilling, I didn't want it to be over. That's how you do a reveal!

BTW, When did PC4 move up so far on the GCPD ladder? I'm starting to dislike him and his self-righteous ways. He was okay on his first day but it has been downhill ever since.

I LOVED the way Y&R ended on Friday but Paul's extended arm and pointed finger was distracting to me.

Doug's acting was good but just a tad bit over the top.

I think Y & R has found it's grove after Friday's show..I loved how Colleen stood up to Victoria. Paul's reaction to Patty I thought was also Classic Y & R. I loved Pauls reaction that his sister was in front of him. Boldconfused. I thought The pointed finger was a little distracting also but I loved how Paul who was standing infront of his sister and was witnessing her spiraling out of control. This is what Y & R needs to be.

The only thing I found distracting was Victoria (I can't remember that chick's name to save my life). She's tired, needs a haircut and should be out and I don't give a rat's ass that she's a legacy character. Doug and Stacy rocked those scenes, that's what I call a cliffhanger Friday!

I think Amelia Heinle did a little better in her scene with Colleen. She is still not the best recast in the world. I am however glad that she has made the character of Victoria her own instead of copying Heather Tom's version of Victoria. There was a time when I wanted Heather to return to the young and the restless but now I am glad she is on the bold and the beautiful. I am enjoying hers and dollar Bill's relationship.

Doug Davidson has been kicking major butt in the acting department lately. He’s definitely my POW for the second week in a row.

I also loved how Colleen ho-check Victoria.

I just want to state that I am not looking forward to the inevitable storyline where Sharon,Ashley,and Patty/Mary Jane are in the loony bin together and Sharon's baby gets kidnapped by either a delusional Patty,or Ashley trying to replace their lost babies. I am not looking forward to Sharon being painted as the town liar just because she tried to do the right thing for Nick and Summer either. Lily's wig was distracting,and the Chancellor storyline (PI,PII,PIII,PIV) is not working for me. I LOVE NIna,Kay,Jill,Jack,Billy,and Sharon's characters right now though.jmo. That being said, it's still the best soap on right now. I thought DD's performance when he did the Mary Jane/Patty scenes were classic Y&R..It wasn't over the top to me, that's the Y&R I remember as a kid. That was the emotion I was EXPECTING with the whole P3 thing.

I have missed some episodes of Y&R recently, so can someone tell me when Chance became a detective? Was he already one when he came to Genoa City and I just wasn't paying attention or did this happen recently?

al0792 & luverica I LOVED how Colleen ripped Victoria a new one too. I thought AH's acting was a bit better, but not all that great. At least we know she is capable of showing some emotion I guess. But if some woman was after my husband and told me so to my face, she better look out! But maybe AH is just playing it like she doesn't really care to lose him since she has Deacon as a back up plan?

GossipGirl, Chance never had to move up the ranks for some reason. He just applied for a detective position and was hired because of his military experience. I don't know if that happens in real life, but maybe it does for college grads with degrees in criminal science or something? Anyway, he didn't have to go through police academy or anything, just got the job of detective straight away. He never referred to being a police officer before, so it all happened once he got back from Iraq.

The ending on Friday's Y&R was great. Paul's look of horror was classic!

I thought DD's scenes hit their mark!! His performance is EMMY worthy!! The tear rolling down the cheek, the look of shock and horror at MariJane the horrible woman who is now singing the childhood song of his sister... It seemed too much for one person to bear...

Doug hit it out the park!! This is the 2nd time - the writers gave him something and he ran with it. His scenes as Nikki broke him down were great as well.

Hey writers - give more time to the character of Paul and less time to Tyra, Cane, Lily, Ryder, Jana and Kevin and Noah and Eden!!

Paul's reaction was a little over the top...but that's what made it so good. He was a mass of emotions. Shock, sadness, horror. It was classic Y&R at its best.

Chance was a military MP which means that he already has the training necessary to me a detective. This is a real-life situation.

I can't say enough about SH's performance since coming onto the GC scene....Aren't we supposed to NOT LIKE characters like Patty/MJ? She's AWESOME! And again, the Moron's over at ABC/AMC -- clearly had no clue how to use an actor of Miss Haiduk's caliber (I guess the Cam Matheson's of the world have rendered them incapable)...

Few things:
A new Kitten!! PUHLEEASE tell me she names this one "Puss". I'll die laughing!

Out of all the performances lately, I think it's Eileen Davidson that's WOWED me the most. Man. Ash is CRAAAZY!

How has a 'wet noodle soaked in flat diet coke' like Victoria got the two hottest guys on the PLANET layin on top of her??!!

Aside from Ryder (eehhh), I'm digging Y&R TONS this late summer morning. This is why it's the best......!

What scares me is that Mary Jane/Patty has a live one - a new kitten. I hope this one doesn't find it's way to the taxidermist too.
