Loved the podcast, and for some reason I got emotional listening to Jamie and hearing about his exploits in Hollywood.

Jamie did DC proud, and made me feel like I was there with him.

I also loved hearing Regan, and am so glad she came back for this episode. I hope she is back for good.

As always great job DC Gang!

Uh, guys, E.J. Bonilla knew that he was nominated. Did it occur to you that he was just joking? Come on...

So what are the odds that the Emmy Broadcast will be on the CW next year? Let's hope ABC or CBS picks up the broadcast next year! God I will so miss THE GUIDING LIGHT! What a shame it's going off....Sad

Jamey you rocked on the pre-show. I'm gonna give Luke some props, without him we wouldn't have the DC site or podcast. Man has this site gone far.

Dear D.C. Crew:

I always look forward to your podcasts because not only are they informative and fun but I love the fact that you all show how much you love your soaps and each other. In our screwy world, most people don't love their jobs (side or main) as much as the D.C. crew obviously does contributing to the site.

You all should take a bow on the web red carpet for your wonderful contribution to soapdom!! Your passion for bringing the world of soaps through your reporting and opinions rounds out the soap viewing experience.

Thank you for bringing such great cheer, wit, and intelligence to soapdom!

Hey Cheri! Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. I agree with Ladyofthelake, had Luke never started this site and plucked me from ranting on message boards, none of this would have happened!

Jamey, did you get to meet Robin Strasser? You did great and is there going to be another Emmys next year?

Sorry for going OT, if Jeff Branson were to go to Y&R who would he play?

A new character or a recast(Scotty Granger, Chance, or JT)?

Hey Simon Stuart, the Daytime Emmy telecast gave The CW it's highest Sunday night rating in over a year, so that is a positve sign. It was never expected to get the type of numbers it would on a Big Three network. The Daytime Emmys will continue as long as there is daytime television, whether or not it continues to be televised is the question.

I'm sorry no disrespect to Jill and Mel but I get kind of fumed when people say that Kirsten deserved it more than Julie. I love Kirsten too but she deserved the award last year because most of the really good material for Georgie's death was in 2007. So Kirsten was robbed last year. The only thing I can remember about Kirsten's scenes in 2008 was just her being annoying with Spinelli. Nothing pops out to me. If any award should of had a tie it should of been this one and the two winners should of been Rachel and Julie. They both had some really good character driven scenes for 2008. Kirsten just had Spixie.
