Carly's Return on DAYS

I'm excited, but does anyone else think these Days promo people are TOTALLY phoning it in? "This is good stuff" Really? Seriously?! That's not a promo. It's a video camera at a photo shoot with the worst voice-over I've ever heard.

IA. That was the most apathetic voice over I've ever heard, and obviously they just threw it together at a photo shoot.

But they all look fabulous and it should be a good return.

Peter, Kristian and Crystal look great! However, they all look completely bored! I didn't see any real chemistry between Peter and Crystal, but I guess will have to see if it happens when they are actually on screen! Peter and Kristian of course ALWAYS look soooooo AMAZING andd their natural chemistry, is just that natural! Still, I hope this storyline is alot more exciting than this promo because it sure didn't live up to the hype! JMO Jamey don't get mad at me!

The worst promo. Ever. I'm tuning back in to see Carly because she was one of my faves, and Viv to. But this promo is weak as all.

They could of put Crystal on the screen and had her read the phone book and I would still tune back in to Days for her and Vivian to of course. I've never been so excited for September to end!

the promo maybe weak but considering none of the soap promos have lived up to the hype "cough" GH i have not been excited to see Days in a long time it has definitely gotten me over GH i do not miss that show at all.

Who do you think is running this show?

Is Hope the matriarch?

Is Sami the main protagonist?

Is Stefano the main man?

Will Carly take over the show?

hmmm I think Sami is the main protagonist that show loves Allison Sweeney, and I think the main bad guys are Victor and Stefano.I do think Carly will be a prominent part of the show (and it will anger some viewers) because it is Crystal C. Although I could be wrong with Days former botched attempts at bringing back characters. I forgot that Carly has a lot of ties to the show though she married Victor and Bo, is Brady's Godmother and interacted with Caroline and Maggie (not sure about Maggie). I'm hoping they take time integrating her with the cast though I hate it when characters get forced down people's throats...even though I personally cannot wait for her return.

All 3 of them look fantastic. Carly was the only serious threat to Bo & Hope IMO (just never bought Billie, esp. the Krista Allen version!) A supercouple has to have a serious romantic threat to be frontburner, and this just might rescue Bo and his Fancy Face from premature retirement to the Salem tea and donut circuit.

I hope Carly takes over the show. Crystal makes her storylines work, despite crappy writing. And she helps those around her improve in their acting.

Promo department for DAYS needs to get fired. Even the wall and couch suck. Short, too dramatic and quick.

On the otherhand, Yay, Carly!

I'm just happy they're actually doing promos a couple weeks in advance. Hopefully more informative ones will come out in the next week or so--this seems more like a teaser.

I doubt they'll let Carly take over the show with Sami and Hope there, but I certainly wouldn't complain if they did.

I will tune in for Carly and hopefully Hackley makes this story work.

I want lots and lots of Buried Alive flashbacks when Viv returns!!!

Ok first of all Crystal doesn't take over shows her acting blows people away which leads to much deserved accolades and recognition. Second Crystal doesn't play second fiddle to anyone let us not forget she is the only one on Days now with an Emmy under her belt and numerous nominations and no one has a fan base as loyal and fired up as her Otalia fans. I can't wait until 10/2/09 because I certainly won't be watching Days before that. We love you Crystal blow them away with your gift; just like you did on GL with a cast full of Emmy winners. i.e. Kim Zimmer, Gina Tognoni, Justin Deas, Tom Pelphrey need I say more Days is small time compared to the gifted actors on GL.

Reckell and Chappell were amazing back in the day and with the character of Hope around this time... talk about an audience conflicted.

lovely12 you're entitled to you opinion but you're wrong on almost all fronts. I've seen CC act and she's ok, she doesn't necessarily blow me away (i've yet to be swayed, we'll see) Many soap actors have loyal fan bases that rival CC (have you been to ABC Soap Weekend at Disney World?) and oh yeah, Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) won an Emmy WAAAAAY before CC did. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I'm just excited to be a Days fan right now with CC and Louise Sorel coming to the show I feel like we'll get some vet storylines not the same ole sami/ej/nicole stuff not that I don't love them but jeesh i'm getting to the point that I just wanna yell "sami that baby is yours" and i'm so ready for Chloe to wake up. I think CC is a wonderful actress and its going to be fun to see her acting with PR, KA, LS, and my personal fav dimples Wally! Also I think Suzanne Rogers is really underutilized as an actress on Days I guess we should be happy she's still on the show though. I love CC but i'm afraid that CC will have a big storyline lets face it Days wanted her because they think she'll bring ratings and she is an emmy winner, and im worried it will cause a fan war between CC and KA fans but I guess that will happen one way or another.

My thoughts only. We all know that Deidre and Crystal were not exactly close friends during their mutual time on the show. So it made it ALOT easier for them to go after Crystal with Dee gone! She has already tweeted that they are not going to replay the Bo & Carly love story. She's only partly there for the Bope angst conflict. The murder mystery is the main thing! Face it people. Like it or not. There are a HELL OF A LOT MORE Bo & Hope fans than Bo & Carly fans! I they make alot of noise!However, Crystal said she is going to get a love interest. So I think the real question is who is it going to be? It has been reported that she has been doing scenes with Rafe and Daniel, according to the actors. However, I hope Lawrence does come back....ALIVE! To me. That is where there is real life chemisty! JMO

I would love Lawrence to be alive I loved there love story (if you'd call it that) I think they'll test Crystal with everyone lord knows she had like 9 love interest on GL so its safe to assume she has good chemistry with well anyone. Heck pair her with Hope lol J/K. I love Cary and Bo more than Bo and Hope but I'm mainly happy that this will give all of them a storyline that hopefully wont be the same ole same ole.

I haven't watched DOOL in 20 years (or any soap until GL brought up the Otalia storyline) but wow! Watching Kristen Alfonso in this vid is painful. Seriously, I think she might need an intervention because that's an unhealthy type of thin. Though it is nice to see Crystal Chappell with professional wardrope, makeup, and lighting for a change.

Thanks to the folks at DC I started watching DOOL for the first time in my life. It's very different from my favorite, OLTL, but I love this show. They just need to add a gay character (that is not Chris) and then I'd like it even more. I've never actually seen CC in anything so I'm looking forward to her coming to DOOL. I'm also glad that it's giving PR and KA more story. This is a show with very few vets so I'm glad they are being used. I really liked their work during the kidnapping storyline.

Crystal's great. Bo and Carly had lots of fans, and were hot, hot, hot but BOPE fans hated her from the get go and it did not matter that Hope was "dead", KA was not working on the show and as far as anyone knew then was not coming back. Despite the constant trashing of Bo for daring to love again, for Peter daring to keep working, for Crystal daring to have chemistry with Peter, the Bo/Carly pairing had a huge fan base in a short time.
I like good work, good stories, and good actors getting to work. This is giving all three actors a chance at some good work at time when mature actors are being fired, ignored and insulted. I wish some fans would get over themselves and appreciate the actors/the work and stop the whining about supercouples.

Did I miss something? What is Jillian talking about with Jamey saying something about a writer in the corner playing with a shiny ball?

...and I agree. Lame promo, but at least NBC is getting the word out.

It's great they are doing a promo for the vets. Got them dressed up too - nice to see. I'm glad the adults are going to get a storyline. Can't wait!
