I know feelings regarding Steve is mixed, but I do give him credit for being truthful about how he feels. Many people in the industry feel the same way he does but aren't admitting it. GL being cancelled is a big wake up call for daytime and a sign that soaps are bleeding out.I'm sure everyone are in fear for their jobs.

Truthful? The guy REFUSES to admit that ratings matter, and he's being truthful? When all OLTL does is talk about ratings, and dorky TC talked about how important ratings are, Burton won't admit that GH pulling 1.7's is BAD. IF it killed GL, it's gonna KILL GH. That guy is completely delusional. He's drinking the Frons kool-aid big time.

Well with all the back stage politics and personal agendas pushing their favorites upfront and center in storylines that don't make any sense I would say the folks at GH will be next in line at the unemployement office. GH writing sucks. It makes absolutely NO Sense for TPTB to allow the writers to forget about the foundation and history of a ONCE great soap opera. And let's not forget how they have totally destroyed the characters of their two leading males Sonny (MB) & Jason (SBu) Not Good GH, Not Good!
