John Brotherton OUT at One Life to Live?

I am so happy i have never liked the character of jared he got on my nerves i wish he could take his father charlie with him. I hate natalie too but i guess her and john could hook up again since their current pairings are sooo boring.

Man, Natalie loses more men on this show than anybody else.

Too bad. I liked him. I wish the best for Brotherton. It's a very difficult time for everyone and I hope that if this is true, Brotherton could find a new job quickly.

From a character stand point, I feel sorry for Nathalie. She always loses. I hope that Jared isn't the stalker. I wonder if he'll be killed (poor Charlie!).

I have a feeling he is having the stalking done or is the stalker. It seems to be leading that way. But they don't have much for him to do is follow Natalie around to have sex. Just seems like they are starting to write him in a corner.

i'm glad he's leaving. I've never liked him since he started on the show and especially really disliked him when he pushed Nash. Maybe now that he's leaving John and Natalie will get back together. I always loved them together.

A year ago I would have been sad, but the last year they have basically made him Natalie's shadow and nothing else. It was pretty obvious the writers had no idea what to do with Jared. I'm going to guess that Mitch L. kills him.

Man, if Natalie were on Star Trek, she would totally go for the dudes in the red shirts!

That's too bad, I've always liked him. It did seem as though they were setting him up to be involved with the stalking the other day when John was grilling him. I think that's a bit of a stretch. It's too bad that they never really developed a believable father-son relationship betweem Jared and Charlie. Oh, well...I guess this is helping to cover the cost of bringing Gina Tognoni back, so every cloud has a silver lining.

I'd rather see Melissa Archer go than him.

You know, maybe if they made Jared a sadistic rapist they would have had more desire to write for him (sorry had to take that last shot!)

I'm kinda bummed by this. I like Jared. Always have and always will. I like his pairing with Natalie, mainly because it was age-appropriate. (Natalie and John skeeved me out a lot.) I was also liking the forming of Fab Four of Natalie/Jared/Jessica/Brody. As relatives and in-laws, they all seemed to get along. Like there was a legitimate cohesive friendship between them all. I hope they don't kill him and would be satisfied with a job opportunity for he and Natalie to move with hopes of a return at a later date.

I know we had to sacrifice someone to get Gina Tognoni back but I'd gladly throw Stacy back to Vegas. Nothing against Crystal Hunt (who I LOVED as Lizzie Spalding on the now-defunct Guiding Light), but this character wasn't fully formed from the start and she just seems bored playing her.

Hopefully the stalker will off him as revenge for killing Nash. Then Natalie will suffer the way Jessica did.

I'll miss JarHead. I liked him and Nat. Poor Nat.

OLTL sucks.

I am so bummed out! All My Children has become unwatchable. I have been watching this show for 39 years! For the past 3 weeks or so, I've continued to hang in there but I feel like an idiot watching. The storyline is all over the place. I want a divorce (Randi) No? OK then let's not, let's make out instead. Madison's gone, whoops no she's not, she's back. Kendall's snuck out of her hiding place again. Let's see if we can run this same sequence, 50 MORE TIMES!
Are the writers or network trying to get rid of all the viewers by making the show unwatchable. That way they won't have to move to L.A. because there won't be anything to move.

I love OLTL u are the best soap on this awful station goodbye and good riddance Jared.

The ending came for this character when he killed Nash. I NEVER forgave him never liked him never will. he got away with murder!

Jared burned out for me; great initial story, but fizzled in the aftermath. This is a big blow, though, because we lost Forbes March's Nash to allow for all kinds of crazy story potential for Natalie/Jared/Jessica. This is too bad, though--good actor and the character's very established now.

I didn't have a problem with Jared being responsible for Nash's death. I was excited to see how Jared would handle that kind of guilt and I wanted to see Jared & Natalie deal with being outcasts and coming to terms with what they had done. But that story wasn't told (at least not while I was watching the show). Instead J & N were dumbed down for the Tess story which was so annoying. I stopped watching soon after - so I have no idea what the characters have been doing lately. It just seems to me that there was a lot of potential for Jared, even if they broke him and Natalie up. And what about Charlie? It can't be a good sign that his son is leaving...

I can't believe that OLTL is going to let him go instead of Skanky and the Brain. (Stacy and Kim) Those two are really the ones they need to let go of. I always liked Jared and Nat together. I did read a spoiler that it is someone who was in prison w\ Jared. OLTL should have the stalker kill Skanky and the Brain before he gets to Jared.

Jared is beyond boring. So is Natalie. It's too bad they can't just have both Jared and Natalie ride off somewhere, anywhere but Llanview together.

Oh no, now we are going to have to watch Melissa Archer attempt to act!

First Aiden Turner and now John Brotherton...congrats ABCD for getting rid of some dead weight!

I hope this is not true. I like Jared and John Brotherton. I wil!l stop watching if Melissa Archer goes. I thought they were a great couple. However, just today brought you back to how much chemistry MA and ME have. I would watch them just look at each other. Kim and Stacy have to go. I could enjoy Spencer Truman for the rest of my life before I could watch one more scene with Stacy. I am geeked about Gina Togoni coming back her acting even got better on the Guiding Light and I did not think that was possible

It's not that Aiden Turner and John Brotherton are dead weight. These hack writers have proven to us repeatedly that they can't write compelling stories for good actors. The fault, to paraphrase Shakespeare, is not in our stars, but in THEIR writers!

While I don't to see Jon Brotherten out of a job, I never liked his character and can't say I'm sorry to see him go. I think instead of having Jared acting suspicously and involved with Jessica's stalker, he and Natalie should have decided to move away and raise a family together.

Maybe they are getting rid of John to make romm for Thortyn Kaye to come back as Patrick as he may not want to move with AMC. This way they can reunite Marty and Patrick and so as not to leave John out they put him back with Natalie since they have great chemistry anyway.

I am glad he is gone, he should've taken Natalie, John , Brody, Stacy, Kim, Gigi, Rex, Markko, Nick, Amelia, Delphina, Charlie, Destiny, and some others with him...They all are terrible actors and bring in people than can act.

 Wow, jojo, why do you watch if you hate so many of the actors on the show?
