Daniel: He calls the shots with Deacon.
Cane/Lily: The lovebirds have a renewal ceremony.
Billy/Chloe: The duo attempt to show they are over each other.
Nick/Sharon: They have a tearful farewell to "Faith."
Victor: Traci decides to give him Colleen's heart and tells Jack to give him the news. He tells Victor about his sister's request and informs the Newman kids about Traci's decision. Everyone is all relieved and thankful for the tremendous gift Traci's giving except Billy. This latest revelation has him stunned and pissed the man that set all of Patty's misdeeds, including Colleen's death, in motion winds up getting her heart.
Jack explains the choice wasn't up to him, but Traci and he's only honoring what she wants. He then gathers up his family members to say one last goodbye to Colleen, and while he's with her alone he feels its his fault for her death. Jack keeps thinking about his actions against Victor and their feud led up to this and has had enough. As Victor is taken back to his room, Jack watches and has a moment to reflect on Colleen living on through Victor because of her heart.
Billy/Jabot: The playboy is still reeling over the news Victor receives his beloved CC's heart. He tries to get some spiritual guidance in the chapel when Kay shows up. The two talk about the havoc Victor created, but she advises Billy his hatred of him will not turn back the hands of time with his niece. Later, he chats with Mac about how he feels and fills her in on how jaded he is with everything.
She comes up with the idea for him to ditch Jabot, which gives him food for thought. At Traci's suggestion, he plans Colleen's funeral. Afterwards, he informs Smilin' Jack he's leaving the family business. Big brother tries to pursuade him to stay, but winds offending him inadvertently. He fills Ashley in on his move hoping to get some support.
Sharon: She informs Jack and Noah about her baby's death and gets a shock of her own she finds out Ashley's named "her daughter" Faith! This revelation has her reeling and reflecting on the baby girl she could've had. Meanwhile, Jack lets her know she has to keep going and not give up on life making her more determined to be a stronger person. Nick fills Phyllis in on being Faith's dad, prompting her to visit her rival.
She thanks Sharon for pushing Nick towards she and Summer, however she's not buying it and is a bit ticked big red has the nerve to show up. It reminds Sharon all over again that when Cassie died, Phyllis stole Nick from her on the heels of her losing yet another daughter. Afterwards, she bumps into Adam at the hospital and tells him about going to find her baby's ashes. He starts to panic since they don't exist, but comes up with a plan to snag some and give them to her. When she gets them, it makes her realize this is only type of moment she'll share with her little girl.

Did Ashley knew Sharon was gonna name the baby Faith? I can't remember.
And Billy ditching Jabot? Freakin' great advice Mac, that's exactly what he needs, another rift between him and his brother/family. I'm not liking Mac very much right now. Normally she's just dull, but now she's also stupid. At least we finally get some Chloe! God, I've missed her.
Lane renew their vows? Sounds to me it's time for some cattle hustlers to come to GC and wreck havoc. Can Lily be backburned and give her screen time to Neil and Devon? Please?

Phyllis did not "steal" Nick from Sharon, Sharon threw Nick away because she was so sure Brad was going to dump Victoria for her! Nick and Sharon MUTUALLY decided to divorce after Nick caught Sharon half naked swapping spit with Brad in the car in the NE parking garage, was Sharon thinking of dead Cassie then? or when she was having sex with Brad??? Sharon plays the Cassie card when it suits her!!
what is Billy going to do now??? work for Mac at the bar???
already getting SHADAM moments!!! wonder how long before Sharon is doing the nasty with Adam??? or calling Billy for some afternoon delight!!! man that stay in the looney bin did no good at all!!

I hope the writers don't push Adam onto Sharon-- she deserves much better. If the writers had not ruined Adam's charactor a Sharon and Adam story might have been a good direction for the charactors, providing a lot of conflict with Nick constantly being jealous of his half-brother with his first wife. But now it just seems like more punishment for Sharon, being stalked by the devil disguised as Hope's son.

A few weeks ago, SOD said Sharon would get a new love interest. I bet it's gonna be Adam!
PLEASE for the sake of everything that is holy, FIRE Mac, Cane, Lily, Ryder, Kevin, Jana, Daniel, JT, Amelia Heinle, and a few others!!! OMG, the cast is too bloated, there is no need for that many people!
The show needs to go in a new direction and they're dead weight!

This show has gone so downhill for me but killing off Colleen was the last straw.
I can't take this Mac anymore. Why do they insist on keeping her? Because she's Cybil Sheperd's daughter and that she's an outspoken gay right activist so she will get mentioned in mags?
Ameile is so boring sometimes it looks like she's sleep during her scenes. She needs to go. Other soaps have fired one spouse and kept the other.

^^Oh, how Phyllis has changed her tune...now, that the tables are turned. And her own karma comes back to bite her in the a*s for once.
And the clip speaks for itself. Sharon was TEMPTED (at the time Phick had their affair) to sleep with Brad but she did not.
Phyllis used this information for her own purpose.
On a side note: It always kinda stuns me how many fans stand up for this character. Thank the Lord she's just that...just a character.
I wonder how many cheated-on women would be so forgiving of 'the other woman' in real life...

...but about the spoilers (thanks Jillian, btw):
Billy/Chloe: This s/l just doesn't do much for me. It'd be one thing if they had a history. But according to their t.v. history thus far...Chloe was just some other chick in N.Y. to Billy. And he was completely miserable at the wedding ceremony.
It does make sense that a bond was created w/ the birth of Delia. But I dunno, seems fabricated. Too bad Mac wasn't better recast.

If Mac is telling Billy to quit Jabot, does this mean he will go work at Chancellor Industries? His mother Jill has been hired back there by Katherine so this would make sense. If he doesn't then what would be the point? This Mac makes no sense at all, she is a complete opposite to what the original Mac was like.
Maybe the writers are planning to do what other soaps have done and have some natural disaster wipe out a few characters. There is a long list of who I would like to see gone

To say that Phyllis didn't stole Nick from Sharon and it's all Sharon's fault is a little bit of rewriting history, but ... d-oh ... it's not wroth the fight anymore. Some never learn and some have just enough.
I just hope and prey that this baby switch storyline gets over soon. I already have enough of it. I mean how long do they wanna keep this going? Adam is doing one horrible thing after another and still nobody seem to question him and he can even stole ashes so Sharon believes that's her dead baby girl? This is getting so annoying. It's bad. It's just bad....!!!
Victor getting Colleen's heart was another big mistake. To write something like this is really cruel and that Victor in the end hasn't to pay, but gets the heart of his "victim" ... there is no justice for the viewers. It's like when GloHo got away with the cream scandal and the audience waiting for her to be punished for like two years. That's LML style and I don't know why Maria is dragging into that since she tried in her first year to redo everything that horrible woman messed up.
Don't get why Billy has to leave Jabot, but Mac is involved so I think it will be some brainwash talk with a bit down of memory road.
I want Cane and Lily off my screen again. Boring as hell. The cancer storyline was a BIG mess and I just can't hear Cane's sweet talk to his wife anymore.
Nothing big to look forward too. Sorry, but there are at least three soaps that are doing better than Y&R at the moment.

Ashley & her dead baby storyline has been beyond disgusting!
everytime she rubbed her belly & talked it, it would make me cringe. I'm glad it's out of her & this story is almost over.
this whole year has been very PASSIONS-like.
If Victor needed a new heart, then Adam shouldve given up his own! Just like on Bold & Beautiful when Storm killed himself so Katie would get his heart.

Phyllis didnt steal no one from anybody. Nick couldve stayed faithful to Sharon but he chose not to. That is not Phyllis's fault!
I wish people would stop ragging on Phyllis, she's a good person!

babyc, I can't remember either. I thought one woman was going to name her girl Hope and the other was going to name her Faith. I guess it doesn't really matter. I just hope that Sharon and Nick will get their rightful daughter back soon. I don't want it to go on as long as the saga did for Marcy and Starr on OLTL. That was terrible.

I don't recall Ashley ever hearing Sharon's plans to name her baby Faith either. Just a very sad coincidence.
This babyswappingstoryline has gone on far enough for me too. When Ashley was in "labour" they should have just ended it there. If Adam really wanted he could have told her she delivered a stillborn baby. I want Ashely to mourn her dead baby then move back to a more coorporate storyline. I much prefer strong, professional, intelligent, loyal, family oriented Ash over the watered down, confused MESS of a character they've written about.
This heartstoryline has brought about some great acting that's had me in tears but I'm getting tired of it. We all know Victor SHOULD NOT get the heart but does. Let's wrap it up and get out of the hospital.
SO NICE TO SEE PHYLLIS back I've missed MS.

I think Ashley's been pregnant all along and Dr.Taylor has led Adam to believe she miscarried months ago. I think Ashley did go into labor and Dr. Taylor has hidden the baby away to protect it from Adam. I think in a few years this child will make an appearance and only then will everyone know that Ashley truly had a baby that night... It could also be that the new baby that Ashley has is really hers and Sharon's baby is the one that's hidden away, living with some other family that will show up in Genoa City in a few years.

My mother's very good friend went through exactly the same situation as Ashley, an hysterical pregnancy. Her stomach grew, she felt it kick and she went through labor. This is a very real, but rare condition. She wanted the baby so badly that her body went into the mode of pregnancy.

This is a grotesque storyline. I can't take this show for the foreseable future. I'll keep up with the spoilers to see when Sharon gets her daughter back. Until then.....dueces M.A.B!!! Kay is the only woman in this whole town who has not been grossly manipulated,or lost her freakin' mind,or desperately clinging to some guy who has no interest in her. I was actually recommending this show not two months ago. WTF!!!

Yep. Y&R is a combination of great acting, sometimes great writing, and other time horrible plotting.
This is all about MAB. She said it on the red carpet with Nelson Branco. It's not Hogan Sheffer.
Dear MAB,
What the heck is wrong with you? You are sending Y&R off the rails with too many dark, depressing storylines, illogical character and plot develoments, and the kind of misogyny usually spawned from men.
Eew! Yuck! Bleh! Having Adam burn Ashley's miscarried fetus in the fireplace was one of the most disgusting things in the history of daytime. Yes, at first we thought it was just bloody towels but it became apparent later that there must have been human tissue there.
Why go there?
You've killed off the female lead in the next generation of Abbotts. There is no one else to replace her.
Why go there? To change the hearts of two male characters? What a wonderfully sexist notion.
To dump a lousy character, you have her sleep with her nephew, thus debasing her and forcing her to leave town in shame. How is this not utterly sexist? There's no way you would have ever done this to a male character. Why must a women bear a Scarlett Letter like this?
Now, you've given us daytime's THIRD babyswitch story in a year. Have mercy!! Could you be any more cliche? Why would you torture us and two characters with a history mental illness like this?
Speaking of which, why do so many of your female characters have to suffer various forms of mental illness but your male characters don't? Female characters like Ashley, Sharon, Patty, and Phyllis all suffer major mental illness or borderline personality disorder because of their relationships with men. Not one single male character suffers similar mental anguish.
Of course, there's the other issue of the little "black box." Y&R used to have daytime's most popular African-American cast. But where are they? Two thirds of them are in box and let out every other blue moon.
And let's not talk about the utter failure to develop any Latino, Asian, or gay characters. (When the heck will you give Phillip/Thom Bierdz a hair cut. His hair looks a mess!)
In comparison, OLTL has a fully integrated cast where people of color and gays exist, have love lives, and are not segregated.
In conclusion, MAB, get your act together or more viewers are going to turn the channel. This has been the Summer of Gloom & Doom on Y&R, enough is enough. I applaud the good writing and acting that has appeared but the over all presentation is a mess.

Bring back Victoria Rowell and negotiate in good faith with Eric Braeden before GH wises up and hires him as Mikos Cassadine.

Adam is vile. What is worse however, is the fact that he hasn't been caught. It was bad enough that we had to endure FFing all summer. Now it appears that we have more diabolical(sp) Adam during the Fall and Winter?? I don't blame Chrie Engen, I would have bounced too. CAn we please have a who killed Adam story?? We haven't had a murder mystery in awhile and Adam would be the perfect murder victim.
Now Sharon has to mourn for a baby thats not really dead, but switched at birth, and clueless, crazy as batsh*t Ashley is cooing at someone elses baby!!
I know the hospital scenes were supposed to be tear jerkers, but really, we all saw it coming, andwe know he's not going to die, so really, I'm just bored . No emotion for me at all.
The one bright spot for me is that Cane and Lily will renew their vows. The rest of the show just reeks.

So, Adam gives Ashley a sedative and she goes to sleep and her "pregnant" belly just fades away? Must be some magic pill! And somehow a blind man knows exactly where to look for extra human ashes just hanging around ready to be stolen. Is anybody else having a hard time with this, or am I just being extra critical?
