So Long Springfield Heads to Las Vegas

Guiding Light fans on the West Coast will now have a chance to say "So Long Springfield" when the event makes a stop in Las Vegas. The hot Nevada destination will mark the third city on the tour that plays host to popular GL stars, following Pittsburgh and Atlanta. Appearances by twelve stars are scheduled for Saturday, December 5, at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for an afternoon and evening session. More details after the jump.

The daytime session will consist of a meet and greet, a question and answer session, as well as scene acting with the stars using actual GL scripts. In the evening, the stars will show off their talents for fans and spend more time talking with the audience. Tickets can be purchased for an individual session or the entire event.

What's notable about this event is the addition of more stars, particularly Crystal Chappell, Jessica Leccia and Tom Pelphrey

Seating is limited and all tickets must be purchased in advance. Follow the link to Celebrity Events Group and follow the prompts.

Thanks for the update, just wondering if there is any news on GL actors, love how DC keeps updated information. Please keep us updated on were the actors are going.

Here is what I found out. Ron (Alan) sings all over the country, will probably stay in N.Y. Michael (Rick) has realator's license and sells real estate, will stay in the area. Grant (Phillip) has a attorney for a wife and they will stay put. Jeff (Shayne) will most likely move to L.A. Kim Zimmer (Reva) just taking some time off. Josh will also stay in N.Y. to do stage work. And I just herd on other forums soap central, that Lizzie and Bill may go to GH. Don't know were they got that information. Is that true DC? Tom Pelprey-Jonathan Randal is joining the cast of ATWT wow!

I was just trying to get into GH. I just can't get into another soap not knowing the characters and there history. It will help that GL actors are going over there, but not has there characters from GL to bad.

Can the soap stars strike? Don't they belong to the actors guild there union? They way they have been treated like Victor from Y&R spoke out in the TV Guide article said it wasn't about money, he already took a pay cut, it was the way he was treated. I just can't believe the way soaps are treated, don't think there going to be around much longer.

It's amazing how loved this show still is that someone couldn't find a way to make it work. Like..rather than start from scratch with a new web series..why not take GL to the web? It boggles the mind.
