As the World Turns Spoilers

Luke and Noah, daytime's most boring gay couple, face another plot point in their relationship. Shot? Check. Paralyzed? Check. Surrounded by homophobia? Check. Scooby-style intrigue? Check. Fall off a ladder leading to serious injury? Ch...wait, that hasn't happened...yet.
Luke and Mason get into a physical altercation over the selection of Mason's scarves.... Okay, seriously, Luke can't deal with Mason's involvement in Noah's project even though Noah insists there is nothing for Luke to worry about. Luke is not satisfied and pulls his Grimaldi card and conspires with Big Daddy Damian to bring Mason down. Mason is arrested on a morals charge, which affects his career as a professor with the university.
Meanwhile, Noah works to complete his film project. As he prepares to film the final scene, fireworks accidentally explode in his face, which leads to a fall off a ladder. He is knocked out and suffers burns on his face. RUMORS hint that Noah may be blind because his eyes are bandaged while he's at the hospital. The Internet is buzzing with the possibility that Noah's doctor is gay, but what turns the good doc on? Blond or brunette?
The Stewarts that scheme together, stay together. When Emily finds out Hunter is into Maddie, she encourages Hunter to pursue her, so he does despite the fact that Maddie is growing closer to Casey. Hunter plots to get Alison and Casey back together, but Alison isn't interested in anything but focusing on her career. Casey, however can't completely get Alison out of his mind. Will Hunter use that to his advantage? Maddie decides that Oakdale is the place for her and stays put.
Henry is still trying to win over Katie by trying to convince her that Brad's spirit is with him. Katie wants to believe him and is close to doing so, until she catches Henry in a lie. She tosses Henry aside, again, and he's back to square one. Jack, on the other hand, is filmed on the news as he teeters on the top of a building in Philadelphia with Ben Franklin.
Carly catches the newscast and is off and running to save her G-Man. Craig and Rosanna have other ideas and try to prevent Carly from chasing after him. She has them arrested when they follow her and is able to get away while they are in jail. Jack's mission is to find Katie a new man. Yes, you read that right. Jack heads to South Carolina where he runs in to Mike Kasnoff, who is secretly back on the racing circuit. He's not an eligible candidate because he is married with a baby daughter, but Jack helps him out with his financial issues by racing his car for him. Carly catches up to Jack in S.C. and tries to convince him not to race. When he wins, he hands over the money to Mike. Now that Mike is unavailable, Jack decides to find Simon.
Mick Dante (Tom Pelphrey) arrives in Oakdale with a product designed to rejuvenate cells. Bob turns him down, so he tries to encourage Alison to go to bat for him. She contacts Emily and Paul, who later meet Mick at the Lakeview to see his presentation. Paul doesn't believe it's anything more than a scam, but when Emily sees results, she tries to convince Paul to use the inheritance money that he no longer wants to fund Mick's project.
Meg is increasingly off the hook and makes threats to Damian that she will reveal what she knows. Naturally, Damian decides the way to keep her quiet is to kiss her. Meg begins to feel hopeful that she will reunite with Damian until she overhears he may be moving in with Lily. Watch your back Big D!

The reason why Luke and Noah are boring even tho they are hot,is because AS THE WORLD TURNS doesn't use them that much. Only once or twice a week if that.

I think Noah getting possibly blind is different than just some random plot point... Because it's more than just Noah getting blind. He would have to face giving up his dream of becoming a director and stuff like that is not boring IMO.

I agree, Mark. I am looking forward to Nuke's new storyline. I want them to be featured more, too. I am sick of everyone dogging them without offerring suggestions on how to improve their storyline (and yes I mean both Luke AND Noah here). They are a popular couple and an asset to the show, so the show needs to get with it and give them a decent storyline.

OH.MY.GOD.
OK, so all but two spoilers sound good.
The Tom Pelphrey story sounds awful! Was David Kreizman part of the GL writing staff when GL did that "Reva Clone" storyline?
And just what we need: Noah Mayer in a Helen Keller meets The Phantom of the Opera storyline. BLECCH.

Nuke isn't the most boring GAY couple on daytime, they are the most boring couple on daytime, period.
I don't care how contrived it is, I want my Skatie reunion.

I dunno.... somehow I suspect something will make this new story for the guys as boring and tired and tedious as everything else they've ever given them. The fans can delude themselves that this is a real story, but it's really just another way to keep them from having a real relationship like any other couple. It's Luke in a wheelchair revisited. Of course it's a plot point.
And Good Lord! Weeks of watching Noah flailing around blind while Luke looks worried and frets is not my idea of entertainment. The only thing that might be palatable is if they do bring on this doctor for Luke as has been rumored. Otherwise, it'll be like a train-wreck. You know it's going to be a horrific mess, but somehow you just can't look away from the awfulness. I predict EPIC FAIL.
And this Mick mess..... I just don't have the words for how awful that will be.

You do have a point! Paint drying has more going for it than their storyline.

patrick1965...I somewhat agree with you, but I lean toward quality, not quantity.
I realize I don't share the popular opinion of Nuke, but I do not like them because they are written so poorly. Do they have a soapy relationship? Yes, if you look at what other couples go through, but to me they don't have chemistry. At first they did, but now they are bogged down with so much crap I don't even like to watch them. Luke shrieks and Noah never understands why. To me, they have no depth and are too one dimensional. I actually like Luke when he plays opposite Lucinda, Lily or Holden.
Maybe I'll be surprised and not find this storyline so predictable and painful to watch. Considering the overall path of the show, there is more hope for that now than there was a few months ago.

nuke is the worst gay couple ever. they were good in the beginning but the robots on transformers have more chemistry than they do now. the show needs to really make them a gay couple in every aspect. take some lessons from kish

Why do people think that a couple who love each other are deemed boring. I'm an avid Luke and Noah fan and I simply enjoy their banter and affection towards each other. I don't think they need typical soap opera shenanigans. I like the way the writers use them to a point. Keep them together but give them life. The actors are fantastic.

Personally I think they have great chemistry.

I think that he was so much better as Nash from One Life to Live. I think that they need to incorporate his character back on One Life to Live. He had so much better chemistry with the character Jessica.
