First Look At Melody Thomas Scott's The Republic

I wonder if Melody's Nikki is going to return from Belgium with the chocolate brown hair? Love me some MTS, but her hair has been very yellowy-white the last couple of years and has lacked a distinct style. It almost looks overprocessed/burned. Again, I love me some MTS, so I hope this brown rinse for "The Republic" is the first step toward her hair getting healthy again!

I just can't believe the Beastmaster looks so old. I was just watching the old V series on Sfy last weekend. He didn't age well.

I admit the brunette look suits her in the above photo, but it looks like they are outdoors where the sun can soften it. With The Young & The Restless being in HD and the sets being relatively dark, it might not look good on her. But anything is worth a try.

Jacklyn Zeman (!) also appears on the show as Bettie Todd according to the show's credits page. Ms. Zeman deserves a little spotlight, too!

Looking at the large cast, and the press release's wording, I'm wondering if the show was filmed and new scenes with MTS and Marc Singer were added.

"Preliminary sequences not involving the leads have been filmed. Shooting featuring the lead characters commences in November just as a reboot “V” premieres on network television. "

Anyway, I'm happy to see MTS in a sci-fi show. My only concern about the show is its premise about the U.S. falling apart under new "laws."
