Good episode guys. I agree soooo much about Bree and Melissa on OLTL. They kind of brought down such great scenes while Roscoe was doing fantastic work. I'm really enjoying having him. And Farah's drunk scenes were absolutely awful. Yuck. John Paul Lavoisier was terrible too. Clementine Ford is just awful. I can't take her drab, dull performances. And this surrogate storyline? Are they serious? And I will reluctantly agree Jake S. was pretty good in that scene with Luke. But one scene in two years of bad performances? Let's not hand over that Emmy yet! I hope he turns it on for the blind storyline. I haven't seen DOOL from last week, but I'm looking forward to seeing them after listening to the show.

Admittedly, I enjoyed Clementine Ford on The L Word but I think that anyone who's using that stint to justify her casting on Y&R is just being disingenuous.
First of all, she wasn't that prominent a character on The L Word. According to IMDB, she appeared in just 9 episodes (compared to her mother's 19 episodes). It's not like she was a core character on the show. Second, let's be real for a second: SHE WAS PLAYING HERSELF. There was nothing unfamiliar about the role she was playing so, of course, she was able to handle it well. Clementine Ford was the Michael Cera of "The L Word." What she did there can hardly be called acting.
Unless this surrogacy storyline ends up with her falling in love with Lily and not Cane, I think we just need to go ahead and cut CF loose.

I think every soap should have a life size poster of Crystal Chappell at hand and put it just outside the camera angle when some of the actors have to tape scenes. I bet it would be an improvement.

Loved the podcast...
I watched Friday's episode of OLTL last night and I thought gosh why wasn't it Natalie that got shot. She was very annoying.
Jillian I'm building a new coalition...see ya on twitter...lol

I have enjoyed Natalie, thanks to Jared. Now that she's headed back in John's orbit. I will want Victor Lord to come back for her!

Smitty puh-LEAZE! *LOL* That's all I have to say on that. Meanwhile folks I'm just JOKING about Melissa taking on the role of Victoria. Like my partner in crime said, she's not right for the part... You know how I am, hell I'll dress myself up as Victoria!

My performer of the week? Nash's corpse! Think they'll offer him a contract? Then Jessica could constantly say, "Look what he did to Nash!" Ha!

I already threw in my candidate for Victoria Newman and that's the little girl that plays Emma on AMC.

I agree with all your comments on the Podcast especially Roscoe Born and Kathy Brier on OLTL. I also agree with you about Farrah Fath. What's up with this girl? I also agree about Teri Columbino and Melissa Archer. Both are bringing it. I just want to add one honourable mention, well maybe two.....the first is Michael Easton (I hear the groans of Mel and Jaimie) but I loved the scene in the barn where Mitch kept on and on while Jared was dying and John just walked over to him and slammed his head against the post to shut him up! That was frickin hilarious! Natalie wasn't the only who said Thank You. That's the John McBain I love!.
Okay my other honourable goes to Days Of Our Lives (the entire show), I still think Ken Corday is a jerk but this show has improved and it almost resembles my "Days" of old. It now has 4 powerhouse actresses on board. Allison Sweeney, Ari Zucker, Kristian Alfonso and my beautiful Crystal! The rest of the cast has stepped it up and I'm so happy to see my adorable Wally Kurth! And welcome back Lousie Sorel ! I had just about given up on this show about a year ago but I'm glad I hung in there.

Personally, I don't think Clementine was that bad this week and that the surrogate story rejuvenated her a bit in my opinion. She had a little more emotion than normal, and she might be settling into the role now that she actually has a story and isn't hand-wringing and whining over Billy.
Question for the Podcast panelists: About Amelia Heinle, did you guys hate her as Mia on AMC as well, because you always mention her "learning to act" as Steffi on Loving/The City, but never her character Mia on AMC?

dqh257 saw Heinle on AMC. She was beyond dull as dish water on the show imo, to the point you forget she was on there.

I thought MA, BW, and MW were all great this week. I actually thought the acting was solid except for JB. I dont know, maybe because of the sudden way they gave him the axe, but he seemed like he wasnt in it. He definately stood out as the weak link.

Jillian- you are my favorite but damn, AH can't catch a break can she? I actually liked Mia and the original Fusion incarnation (Kendall, Greenlee, Mia, and Simone), prior to the Cambias fiasco.

Clementine Ford could be the illegitimate daughter of Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable...but she still can't act! OMG, Jamey, ROTFLMAO! That was one classic line!
And thanks, Mel, for introducing the gang to the word "Chappelled." I thought the same thing after watching Mia on Friday. Hallelujah, she's been Chappelled!

dqh257 if you've watched Y&R as long as I have you'll see why that chick can't get a break from me or the DC crew. Victoria was ALWAYS totted as her father's daughter in business and a bit in life. Heather Tom nailed it, Amelia.... Not so much.

OLTL TIna - good podcast but meant to ask where the heck is TIna these days. She adds so much to the show, I miss her perspective. Hope she is back soon as its not the same without her.
